I didn’t realize how bad my indoor air could get until I got this thing. It’s easy to use — just turn it on and it starts giving you real-time numbers for stuff like PM2.5, CO2, temp, and humidity. The screen is really clear, and I like that it’s small enough to move around the house. What surprised me the most is how much things like cooking or just keeping the windows closed affect air quality. This little monitor kinda made me more aware of my environment, and I’ve started airing out the room more often because of it.

After a full charge, I left it on over night. The battery turned off the device in a little less than 12 hours. I'll be looking for a hazardous environment to test the unit.

I have an air things wave plus that has worked great. The downside is you have to use an app to see the air quality values. I decided to try this since it displays the values on the screen. So far it has the same values as my airthings so I think it's accurate. It's rechargeable and easy to setup.

UPDATE: it worked great for about 2 weeks and now is very intermittent. The screen randomly flashes or displays garbage data making it unusable. I am returning it and suggest you don't order it. --------------- This is a perfect addition to my office. I very much like the large easy to read dispaly and all the information it presents in an easy to view format. Other devices force you to toggle through screens but not this one. I also like the alarm functions a lot although none of them have gone off. It does run on battery but the life is a little short. That's the price you pay for lots of information on a large bright screen. I keep mine pluged in using the included power supply and USB C cable. I recently bought a PVC chair mat and this AQI meter clearly showed a large increase of TVOC's that the mat was adding to the air. The meter went from .033 to .085 overnight. That's a sharp increase in VOC's and indicated the mat was outgassing. It's not something I would ever want to breath so I sent the mat back. I can easily reccomend this meter. It's not cheap BUT it works well and you get what you pay for which is quality all around.

Quite good real-time air quality station overall. When I first received it, I placed it in the basement alongside our professional radon viewer for an accuracy comparison. Initially, I noticed that even the temperature and humidity readings were inaccurate during the first month, which led me to consider returning the device. However, I soon realized that I hadn't calibrated the device by long-pressing the power button. After doing that, it’s been working fine till now.
