Perfect size
This is a perfect size for paper stars. The paper is thin but this allows for it to be folded easily. Great value.

Not the highest quality paper but I made a decent paper star my first try
So I've had this desktop origami calendar for a couple of years now and though I got off to a good start I never really made it very far. Well several years later now my kids are really into origami and end up doing all the rest of that calendar. When comparing that, and other papers I've used for making origami these paper start strips don't feel like quality. The paper feels thin and is uncoated so it almost feels like standard printer/copy machine paper. Though I guess origami paper comes in all shapes, sizes, and qualities. So I will give this 4 stars; docking a star because at $10 it seems a little on the expensive side for what you're getting. That said, I managed to make a star my very first try while using the instructions right off the product page. So its definitely sufficient. I do like that all the strips are held together by an glued-edge. This way they don't end up all over the place, well at least until they become stars then they'll probably be all over the house.

Cut Down The Middle Perfect For Quilling Projects
I have recently started quilling. The problem is that the kit I got had just basics. I am an artist. I like to have more colors to work with.HOW THIS COMESThis comes with one end glued like a note pad is. The colors are sorted in groups.HOW I USE THISI use this by carefully cutting up the center of each sheet of paper, giving me two pieces. The length is great for most quilling curls. It is a little thinner than usual quilling paper but it still works well for me.COLORSThe color selection of blue tones really compliments my existing color selection of quilling paper. It is nicely pigmented and looks great.THE BOTTOM LINEI got this for quilling and it works great.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. To think I was concerned about finding more colors of quilling paper. This is great! Most people might use it for the stars, but I am thrilled to have it for my designs instead.

3/8 inch wide
Origami lucky star represents a special gift of love or good luck. My goal was not only this but also to make them decorating home for Christmas. It is pretty thin, narrow strips ( 3/8 inch) paper. Narrow strip makes a smaller star which in my opinion is more difficult to make. The paper is almost 10 inch long, folds easily, it is smooth. I think that a longer and wider strip makes your job easier. You get four different tones of yellow.
