Having tried 3 or 4 interactive cat toys, I finally found one that is well designed and that keeps my two cats entertained- Jkanti. It doesn't move wildly around the room like some, but in movements that keeps it near the cats. It comes charged and ready to go. It comes with a charging cable but no wall plug so I used an adapter to plug it into my MacBook wall plug. It's really a hit with both cats, and one never went in for chasing a toy around before!

This toy is PHENOMENAL. My cat is usually not interested in electronic toys but he loves this one. He played with it for 45 minutes straight right after I pulled it out of the box, and the first thing he did this morning was make a beeline for the toy. He was upset that it wasn’t moving (I had turned it off for the night) and kept going over to it until I got up and turned it back on. He has a lot more energy than I do, so something like this lets him get exercise and play without me. There are two modes, but my cat likes the “basic” mode the best; the other level spins more and makes a lot more noise, and he doesn’t like that very much. It did take a few minutes for him to get interested in chasing it; he was startled when I turned it on the first time. It came charged and ready for play, and the charge life seems to be very good. It’s been on for a total of an hour without me charging it. It is rechargeable, so no batteries are needed. If it runs into something like furniture, the toy will turn around. It’s only gotten stuck once, which is a huge perk, and it seems durable. I can’t believe it was only $15! I’ve spent much more money on other toys that my cat gets bored with in minutes, but he loves this toy. It came with a cleaning cloth and instructions for how to get hair or fur off of the ball, and they sent an extra tail for it just in case. I’ve already sent the link to all of my friends who are cat moms! I bought the orange colored one. I can’t think of any drawbacks. I wasn’t paid for this review or anything, I just bought it on a whim and I’m so glad I did! It did take me a minute to figure out how to turn it on but that was the only “issue” I had.

I swear this this is ALIVE! LOL!!!! OK so yah if your cats are timid start off with the low setting. Our mother and son rescue kitties love toys but this was their first moving/noisy toy. Mama is more timid and it took a while for her to do more than just sit and watch it. The kitten and her would sit and watch it-- that was entertaining to us! We were glad that it was even holding their attention! But now the kitten chases it around and does summersaults around with it. Mama will even pick it up by its "tail" and has rescued it with it gets stuck. Yes it gets stuck under things. Sometimes the ball can shake itself loose and sometimes it needs help. It will roll to the same spots. I wonder if it's part Roomba how it does that. It even rolls around my feet like the kitten and seems to hide in/behind things. Its weird! Lol! I'm glad it comes with an extra tail but I wish it was stronger. The (petals/feathers?) were the first thing to fall off. The net part got a hole in it so I removed the bell before they could swallow it. The poofy balls get caught on stuff and so the tail is way stretched out. But oh well. They don't care. Hair does get stuck around where it spins and it is a bit hard to get it out from under the button area. Then I always hit the button putting the clear piece back on. Lol. When it does get lost, you can still find it if it's making noise. If the lights are off in the room you may see its occasional blinking. But I do love that it turns off until its mived again so I can leave it out. I wish we could whistle or something and have it chirp to find it easier. Or a remote. Haha. But if you forget about it, trust your cats will find it and wake you up at 5am playing with it! Lol! The cats do love it so it's definitely worth the money! Charging it is quick and convenient. I have to hide it in a drawer when I charge it, but the kitten knows exactly where it is and will sit on the drawer and paw at it. So kitty approved! Edit: As of June 2025: They wore it down already! The orange cover half came on but I used some non toxic glue to put it back on. Ordered more tails and one had to be glued at the base out of the box. Motor has slowed but they'll still watch it and sometimes attack it. They preferred the fast speed so I will have to buy a new one (or 2 lol) and retire the other. Still worth it for all the playtime they got out of it!

I recently got a five month old kitten. Many times I still ask myself why? Why did I a senior citizen in their 70s think I could keep up with a five month old kitten? Then he comes up and lays next to me when he's scared or he lays on my chest to be cuddled and then I know why. ❤️ All of those warm fuzzy feelings with my kitten and my right arm feels like it is going to fall off. Why? Because he likes to play fetch, which means I have to repeatedly throw his toy so he can bring it back to me so I can then throw it again and again and again and again. I have been looking for a toy that would amuse him and keep him occupied for more than five minutes at a time. Yay! Yay again! I believe I have found it. This interactive ball has kept him occupied for hours. He loves it, but I think I love it more. He is playing with it again right now. I like to watch it too. It rolls. It shimmies and it shakes. It has different speeds and it goes quiet for a few seconds and then voilà it starts again. It's got a very pretty tail that moves pretty fast when the ball shimies and shakes. So far my cat has not tried to eat the tail. He is too busy trying to figure out if he can kill this thing. I am beyond happy it holds his attention! I got this interactive ball last night and he has chased it for as long as I have left it on the floor. I picked it up last night at bedtime so we could both get some rest. I don't think the ball is loud. Him jumping on it and crashing into a wall is loud but I can handle that. I don't know how he is going to feel about this toy in another week or so. I think he is still going to like it. If not, I will let you know. I highly recommend this cat toy! UPDATE 1/16/2026 I had to buy a second one of these interactive balls for my kitten. He loved the first one so much until he lost it. He lost it in the front half of a 700 foot Mobile. We have looked for it under things on things beside things. Basically we have looked everywhere and it is not to be found so I'm trying to keep my little active boy occupied, so I ordered another one. We got it today and he loved it. He chased it it chased him. He watched it. It chased him. He chased it. Everything was going good until I went into the bathroom for three minutes. When I came out. The ball was gone… Again! Gone! I looked under. I looked over. I looked behind. I looked in front. I looked everywhere that I could get to. No interactive ball. What is it Sherlock Holmes said "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth, The truth as I see it now is that they have disappeared. They have entered a portal and I hope that this portal spits these balls back out because I can't afford to buy another one. My cat really really likes them. So the portal needs to cut them loose. I knew I was probably too tired to write this review but I wanted to get it done. I will update if we find one or both of these interactive balls that I have ordered in the last couple of months. Unbelievable! I recommend this product but only to be used in a room with no furniture or doors and windows closed with the human watching every movement. Lol. UPDATE 1/2026 I know I am writing way too much about these interactive balls, but I had to include the third installment of our little story. All of the balls have been found. They were found where they couldn't possibly be in, but the joke is on me. My big black kitten is thoroughly and enthralled with this toy. He just zoomed past me like it was chasing him and here he comes again. This has taken so much pressure off of me to keep him occupied and happy. And now I have two of them. Balls not kittens. I definitely recommend these interactive balls. They're a hoot. And they are endlessly entertaining to my kitten.

This is a great toy, but unfortunately the plastic piece that attaches the tail broke after 3 months. I randomly found my cat playing with plastic piece/tail and found the ball in the bathroom behind the toilet. It looks like it snapped off somehow. I can’t find a place to send message to seller to see if I can get that piece replaced. That is really my only complaint. This ball will hide under all your furniture, so be prepared. We installed the netting you can buy to block under the couch after losing it 20x day. Charge lasts a long time on the slower setting, shutting down when cats aren’t playing which is great. Be ready to accidentally step on it in middle of night on your way to the bathroom… it’s terrifying! It’s distracting and noisy, but you do get used to it. It’s worth the entertainment of watching the kitties play.

This cat toy is awesome! My 5 month old kitty took to it immediately and played for over an hour. Great active toy for indoor cats. It's entertaining to watch the ball roll, change direction, and the tail does a cool shimmy. My cat was mesmerized by this interactive cat toy ball. I'm ordering another one as a back up. Reasonably priced for such a solid and amazing toy.

My cat LOVES this toy! My cat is high energy and gets into all kinds of mischief when he’s bored. This toy, while slightly obnoxious, keeps him entertained until he’s too tired to play. The random wiggles and unpredictable movements hold his interest. I’ve had to fish it out from beneath the dryer and the oven once each, but It usually finds its way out of tight spaces. I recommend this toy for cats that chew on plants, scratch couches, climb in cupboard, and generally have the attention requirements of a 2-year old. Great value for the price. Holds the charge for a long time. Easy to clean. Comes with replacement parts. 10/10

The cats love this toy. As the description says, it's designed to operate eratically to help keep the attention of cats. It's easy to clean, easy to recharge and perhaps most importantly easy to locate once the battery has died. Smaller versions are easy to lose. Even among dense furnishings this toy will likely be found because not every piece of furniture has room for it underneath, and that shiny bit of plastic on the tail serves as a pretty effective "Here I am!" when the owner goes in search of it.

My cat absolutely loves this. Have had it for a few weeks now and he won’t stop playing with it. It is a little noisy but to keep an indoor cat entertained this is perfect. My other cat isn’t too fussed over it though so I would say get it if your cat is very confident and loves to play. Otherwise they might be a bit scared of it.

Performs as advertised. A little too fast & aggressive but harmless to my cats. Not interactive just keeps their attention fixed on the movement. Battery life is short but charges quickly as well so not much of an issue. Run time is about 10 min. Definitely a good buy as the price is reasonable and the material is of decent quality.

This is an amazing toy I use every day with my Bengal-mix kitten. I've had it for over a month and it's still going and going. The variation in motion and sound keeps my crazy kitten playing for at least an hour each time I turn it on. It's a robust toy that won't let you down like other cheaper models. I know... I bought a cheap version and it only lasted 5 days. This one is a little larger, heavier and padded with a material that prevents ruining your walls and furniture, but will keep your kitten extremely entertained. Absolutely fun to watch!
