Easy to install, great quality and the frosted shades give a nice warm even glow. I put a warm 3k color temp bulb in and on a dimmer switch and you can go from candle light to full blown makeup, wake up, brush bright.

I installed new ceiling fans with light kits in a couple of bedrooms. However, my new ceiling fans w/ lights are controlled by a remote control, which seems great, until you realize that people tend to use remotes and leave them in random places with no rhyme or reason as to where. When it's dark, the problem gets even worse, since, without the remote, you can't turn on the light to look for the remote. I decided I needed a light I could easily mount and be controlled by a wall switch. This wall sconce seemed to fulfill all my needs. I was able to mount this wall sconce just above my existing wall switch and by mounting it a few feet higher than the switch, I was able to easily tie into the existing wiring and fish it up to the wall sconce without having to get into the attic. Now I will have a fixed light source that I can always turn on regardless of where the remote is. This is a beautiful wall sconce and It can be mounted right side up or upside down, so it has good flexibility. It also has a frosted and clear "globe" so the light blubs are obscured from view and the light gets diffused around the room. Reasonably priced with very good build quality. I must say, these light lamp made my hallways and office space look very nice, elegant, and modern. They don’t feel cheap. Good quality. I ended up buy 2 sets. Definitely recommend.

The sconces are great, and they install quite easily. My only complaint is that I had to cut the screws down. The bracket swivels to deal with any box orientation, but if your box is mounted so the screws are horizontal, like mine is, the mounting screws that adjust for the wall depth are far too long and run into the back half of the bracket. It only took a few seconds with an angle grinder to cut them to length, but if your box is oriented with the screws horizontal, make sure you have something handy that can do that.

Bought these to replace the old, ugly sconces that came with the house. These sconces made the house look much better, modern, and clean. The light is bright and perfect for the halls, where we have it.

Looks cute as a sconce in my hallway.
