Sleep later than the sun!
What's the worst thing about camping? For me, it's about how the sun wakes me up so early, but friends and company keep you up late because camping is fun. I guess it boils down to lack of sleep. Well with this tent not only is there enough room for the whole family, you don't have to wake up as soon as the sun peeks out. This blocks enough light that you can sleep later. However, this is not a blackout tent. Light still gets through, which is great because you're not blind inside the tent.I must reiterate, this tent is large enough for the whole family! If you are by yourself, it's basically a mansion in the woods.

Amazing!
Really amazing tent! We knew we wanted some form of blackout tent because we usually stay up super late while camping but are woken up between 6 or 7 when the sun comes up, then tent is definitely a game changer! The material is pretty thick and definitely dark, however if you need it lighter inside the top canopy of tent can be left off and the windows open providing light.Set up was pretty quick and easy, the poles are clearly marked, take down was also easy. The tent itself being a 10 person is very roomy inside, which is great when you need a least two sir mattresses and have dogs! It's tall, you can easily move around!Definitely a good value compared to other tents of the same nature. Also my new favorite tent that I've ever owned!

This tent is HUGE!
I was so excited to find this tent, we really needed an upgrade from the one we've been using the last few years. It is a 10-person tent and so I knew it was going to be large in size, but once I set it up I was still amazed at the height and spacious interior. It really turned out to be much bigger than I imagined. We had a 12 person tent before for our family of three plus a pet, and in no way does it feel bigger than this one does. One feature that I like the most is the fact that it is blacked out on the inside, keeping the hot UV rays out in the morning allowing for better sleep when you need and want it. Setting it up wasn't the easiest task in the world, only due to its sheer size and length of connecting poles. The poles are not your average tent poles. They are much much thicker in diameter, very heavy duty and made two withstand harsh conditions and high winds. Everything about this tent is great. I would think this tank would cost anywhere from $200 to $300 more than what it actually costs on here. So I think it's a great value for the money you pay. The material of it is nice and durable, thick, rainproof, windproof, and overall we are all just very comfortable sleeping in it and hanging out in it. So many people have asked us where we got it! Yes, I highly recommend!

Black out!
This tent replaced our previous 10x14 that had a few issues from age. We've never used a blackout tent before and wow is it dark! The material of the tent is more tarp like, so at night it sounded different, like a tarp squeaking and stretching in the wind. The morning came and we had no idea, it was so dark! The end door with awning is the biggest drawback as it's either open and staked out or completely closed and you aren't able to use that door. If you are trying to use the end door everyone can see in through the screen and there is no other door for privacy. We had to change our layout inside so that we could use the side door or the end door during the day. Luckily the side door is even easier to use than our previous tent. The tent uses poles instead of an easy up, but it isn't too complicated. We were able to get it packed up and back in the provided bag without an issue. Every window has 2 pockets under it which is super convenient, and despite having the apex in the middle with a large hook, there are also 2 smaller loops on each side of the tent for hanging 4 additional things like fans. The material seems like it would hold heat or cold better since it feels more insulated and even sound has a harder time getting through. This was only our first use, but I feel like this is a nice upgrade with the biggest drawback being that the awning side can't be left open over night by having an additional zipper door aside from the screen. We will also miss the integrated lighting from our previous tent. We always use a canopy over our tent just to help with any weather or things falling from trees. Thanks!

Exceeded expectations
This tent has a lot of thought and research put into the design. The poles are extra thick and have a velcro flap 2-section storage bag made of moving blanket material. Each pole is color coded for guess-free setup. I couldn’t believe how fast it went up. Takedown too, it’s fast for any tent, let alone one this large. Sweeping up the inside is what I spend the most time on. I definitely need to bring a wide broom next time. The doorway canopy is a cozy touch. I’m 6’1” and had to duck under it to go in, but it wasn’t too bad. The biggest challenge I had was not tripping over the front entryway. It lifts up from the ground and there’s no spot in the middle to stake it down. Maybe it needs to be anchored first and I had it wrong. The rainfly worked flawlessly. I was pleased to see extra loops at the corners for this stuff. I had zero leaks. All the interior seams are taped and smooth to the touch. The most wind I encountered was 25-30mph and it was enough to require the stakes. I didn’t need the strings at 25mph wind. This was a good size for two people and their gear. One half for the bed and clothes, one half for a cot and bags. There was room to spare, it was nice and spacious. I did not feel cramped inside. I could stand up.Well designed, well made. A solid value.
