My mom is 85 years old and was struggling to shower effectively. So I bought this and it’s perfect. Removed the center portion so she can spray her personals and get clean. Helps us take her out easier and dry her off. Worth the money

My husband has neuropathy and uses a wheelchair. This shower chair slides easily in and out of our walk in shower. We’re still a little unclear about exactly how the brakes work. Also, this chair doesn’t enable him to self propel; it requires me to push him in and out. For the most part, though, this chair is working out fine for us and we’re happy with it.

I work at a nursing home and we have a chair like this for personal showers. I am also a home health aide.This chair was easy to assemble and I like that a part of the seat comes out so I can wash in certain areas. The foot rests are great to keep feet from getting run over and it is more comfortable to rest your feet in them.I love that if you have a flat entrance to the shower that it can be rolled into the shower with the person in it.The arm rests are nice and make me feel more stable. The back does the same.I like that this is also a commode and can be used on flat surfaces to transfer someone.It holds up to 300 lbs and I do believe that claim is accurate.This is a very functional, sturdy chair that works for multiple purposes.

Works well for what it is designed for. We reduced the number of times we have to move the MIL from bed to transfer chair back to bed. Before, it was bed to transfer chair to toilet and/or shower chair, then back to transfer chair then back to bed. Easy to use, rolls and turns on a dime. My only issue is the fit. An average sized person can fit. Larger individuals can still fit (MIL is 5'9", 210 lbs), but they may have difficulty reaching down and below to "clean up".

The chair is not bad. But it doesn’t have a foot rest in the back for the person pushing be able to lift in case it needs to go over a small step; Besides that the chair goes all over the place. The wheels are uncontrollable.

I got this because my dad‘s mobility is getting worse and worse. I wanted something he could use if you didn’t wanna go all the way to the bathroom and risk falling this fit the built perfectly. We can use it as a commode as a rolling walker or even rolling right into the shower. I highly recommend this if you’re having issues with mobility with a senior.

This chair would not only benefit the patient with mobility issues but also assist the caregiver in providing an easy and safe way to move their loved one to a nearby commode, easily move them to the bathroom for bathing or transport them to the dining room for a meal with the family or any other room in the home. Although I see this more for home use it could also be a device that would benefit patients and their caregivers at a full care facility as well.The assembly for this chair took literally just minutes to perform once I removed all of the protective packing which consisted mainly of foam wraps and zip ties to protect the painted finish . The first thing I recognized right from the beginning was that the surfaces are non-porous meaning that it will be very easy to clean and sanitize all parts of this chair. The frame is fabricated from light-weight, rust-proof aluminum that has what appears to be a white durable coating that is resistant to chips and scratches. This chair can also support up to 300 pounds and one of the things that stands out is that the chair provides your loved one with a wide and thick cushioned seat for their comfort. The seat height can be adjusted from 20.5" to 22.5" and the footrests can be adjusted in height to suit the individual's needs and each individual wheel can be locked in place for the patient's safety. To be honest the only item I would have liked to have seen added on this 3 in 1 chair would have been a padded wrap on the handle that the care giver uses to push it around with.With all of that said I can easily recommend this Transport Chair for any loved one that has been afflicted with moderate to severe mobility issues since I found it to be well constructed and its' warranty is backed by a large Medical Supply company like Vive. The warranty itself is as follows: 1-year guarantee on the frame, a 6-month guarantee on the footrests, armrests, and wheels/wheel components, and a 90-day guarantee on the cushions. To me this device warrants an Overall Rating of 5 Stars...
