I was disappointed to find this shovel has a thicker blade than my old one and a thicker handle. However i have dug an area of mt allotment in two hours with no sign of backache.

A quality product
This long handled spade is well made, easy to use and brilliant for moving quantities of soil/compost very efficiently.It is robust but very usable and will last me many years.

Does the job
Moving loose soil but the head isn't attached too well and already fear the handle will break. Considering previous reviews I think this is a product design flaw. The head rattles and already have some movement. Barely a couple of hours work. The head material seems like good quality and it works well enough, just wish it felt sturdier
