Fun but could be better quality.
The Crayola Paint Pendulum (30pcs), it's easy to set up and use for my 7 year old. I wouldn't suggest under 4 or things can get messy fast. The plastic is kind of thin. I was surprised how long it entertained my kiddos. It's pretty simple, you fill the reservoirs and pull is and watch it swing.

Little bit of math, little bit of art and a whole lot of fun!!
The paint pendulum is a fun twist to traditional painting! The paint is washable so you don't have to worry about a mess as its easy to clean up! It comes with cylinders to measure the exact amount of water and paint to make different colors based on the color mixing guide!!This is a great activity for multiple kids and teaching them to take turns plus it is neat to see how different everyones turn out. The entire family can do it and it's so simple!

Mostly Great
Here's a bullet point list for you:Pros:* It was very easy for my 7yo to put together and use.* Son said it was fun to use, and he enjoyed watching the pendulum work.* His pictures turned out great. He did them all on black paper, but I think they would look even better on white paper.Cons:* There are only so many ways to swing a pendulum, so the pictures do end up looking a bit repetitive. That is not the fault of this product, it is just how pendulum painting works.* Do you remember using finger paint or tempera paint when you were a kid? Do you remember the smell? Yeah.... my whole kitchen smells like that now. The boy did all of his art outside, but the pictures just smell. If you are sensitive to stuff like that, this is your heads-up. Honestly, I don't like it at all... hence why I took a star off.So, in short, it is a fun toy that will probably be great for a few uses, but then get set aside once it becomes repetitive.

Kids loves it!
I got this Crayola Paint Pendulum for my kids to try and they love it! The kit is easy to build and set up so my kids love it because it's a style of art/paint they haven't done before. They've made quite a few different ones. It's fun for them but once the novelty wears off, they'll probably do it every once in awhile since it's not like drawing or painting where they control what they make and allows for constant creativity. Definitely a good kit to have to change it up though!
