Q: What age does the large fit?

10-12. My son is very thin but tall and this works great. The medium was too short and a little tight.

Q: Can you share the sizing guide. A 9 yr old would be medium or large?

I would go with the large. I got my smaller 6 year old a small and while it fit it was pulling at the crotch and looked funny.

Q: What does the back of this costume look like? Are the wings separate or attached?

The body is a one piece suit with Velcro closures on the back. The wings are not attached. They have elastic loops to wear over your shoulders like a backpack. The tail is attached with Velcro so it can be removed.

Q: What size would be best for a 4 year old who is just under 40 pounds?

It depends really on their height. I originally got my 6 year who’s 40lbs a small. While it fit it was pulling at the crotch.
