This product doesn’t look like the photo. From a distance it might represent it. But up close it just looks cheap. The foam is awfully thin and irregular with chunks being split away. It makes it look like a dollar store diy hack. So Do I cut the foam chunks ? Will it cut a hole if I do ? It’s so thin! It’s expensive for what you get. It’s literally wall paper. I have wall paper that’s this “thick” this product does not stick!! If you have something with weight up against it, it might possibly be ok. It just peels right off tho. Sadly I wanted this to work for me but it’s just hanging out on my dining room table looking for a new home.

As wood panels go, these PVC acoustic panels are very unique, because you can bend them around objects, rounded walls, or what-have-you. However, they bend where the foam gaps are, and the seventeen-foot length goes the opposite direction. So, you either need extremely tall ceilings, or the ability to cut down this seventeen-foot panel. Still, it's a very unique product, and looks very sharp, so it is worth the extra effort. I would suggest these for folks in need of a solution like this, but not for folks who can't make clean cuts on these panels.

These panels truly are sound proof. I put them in my home office to keep out external noise coming from the living room TV and my visiting grand kids. They work very well. I like the look too--rustic. I'm satisfied.
