Perfect for Beginners
I am a beginner (and hobby) artist, and after recently binge-watching an artist Youtuber who used a tablet, I was inspired to finally get my own and experience drawing digitally (before this tablet I drew with paper/pencil, and played around with drawing apps on my iPhone). Pros: - Portable/lightweight - Battery-free pen - Cheap - Easy Set-Up - Great sensitivity/pen-pressure Cons: - Somewhat confusing directions and error message (?) - Long cord - Small active area - Finicky buttons - Heats up laptop TLDR: Amazing product with very few flaws (no major/deal-breaker issues). Perfect for beginners or hobby artists that just want to dabble with digital art, but aren't wanting a huge investment. I'll talk about the cons first: When I very first read the directions, I was a bit confused since it said to install the driver first (with the tablet plugged in ), but in another step, it said to plug the tablet in later (or after you had already installed the driver). I've never used a tablet and didn't want to mess anything up so I panicked a bit and wasn't sure what to do. When I finally did the driver installed and the tablet plugged in, I was greeted with an error message: "key cannot be identified." Panic ensued again and I had no idea what to do and there was no FAQ or already-asked help question to assist me. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but even after the error message (which never really got resolved btw), my tablet still worked! Huzzah. The cord was a little long for my needs (it's about 54 inches). This is a small thing to be a "con", but the cord might get in the way or just be messy (I've kept it wrapped up), but I know it's something that some people may not like. Moving on, the tablet itself has a small active area (for anyone who doesn't know, the active area is simply the part of the tablet that registers the pen and when you can draw on). Granted this is supposed to be a small and portable tablet, so this is something you should expect, it may need some getting used to. I was able to adjust quite quickly to the small area and didn't find it to be too much of a hindrance. The thing that really bugged me was the buttons on the pen. First of all, they don't work all the time? Or you'll activate one (and your tool will turn into an eraser) but if you try to press that same button again, it stays as an eraser and won't switch back unless you keep trying to press the button a few more times. There have already been multiple times where I accidentally press a button and it messes up what I'm trying to do. I've gotten used to where the buttons are now and try to just avoid pressing them, or I'll test it out and just hope it doesn't go whacky on me. The last con was that my laptop was heating up while I was using the tablet and trying to draw. It was nothing serious and it never overheated or got to the point where I had to shut everything down, but it did worry me a little bit. Perhaps it's because I'm using a laptop and not a desktop/computer, but either way, be careful and just check in periodically with whatever device you're using so that it won't overheat or get ruined. Now for the pros! I was very impressed with how lightweight, yet durable it was! In fact, I was a little scared to press too hard with my pen for fear that I'd scratch or hurt the tablet. But that's not the case, it works really well and is a perfect size for if you want to travel or even put it in your purse/bag. The battery-free pen is also a huge plus! My main concerns with have a pen that DID require charging/batteries was that I'd overcharge it or forget to charge it or it'd be too big etc etc, but with this pen, I don't need to worry about that, so it's one less thing off my mind and of things to do! Honestly, the price of this tablet was one of the main things that drew me in. I'm a beginner artist who likes to draw in my free time, and even though I really liked the look and would probably have an easier time with say a display tablet, that really wasn't in my price range, nor would I be using it for professional work. I enjoyed all the features of this tablet, and the price was just right for someone who wanted to test the waters with digital art using a tablet, so I'm glad I found this one. Despite what I said in the cons (about confusing instructions and the one stray error message), the set up was relatively easy. All I had to do was install the driver from their website, plug in the tablet, and I was good to go. I'm sure that if I wanted to toggle the buttons (if that's possible?) or add on other features, it'd be more work, but as far as immediately getting set up, it probably took less than 3 minutes. The final pro is the pen pressure sensitivity! I'm used to drawing by hand, so I was worried my digital lines would look sloppy, too thick, uneven, etc, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sensitivity works amazingly. There was an adjustment period where I was drawing too sensitively and it didn't pick up the lines/what I was doing, but that was easy to adjust and get used to. Overall I'm very impressed with this little tablet and am in love with it. I don't regret buying it and hope that I can make some really amazing art in the future!

very good product, especially for beginners
I was surprised by how lightweight it is! It’s very compact and only weighs about as much as a heavy cardstock. My first tablet was a bamboo Wacom from 2012, which was 6x9 and probably three or four times as thick as the VEIKK tablet. I’ve previously used graphics tablets from Wacom and Monoprice, and I currently draw on a Dell XPS 13 laptop. I will say I’m used to a bit more pressure sensitivity, but considering the price I can’t complain. Even with slightly lower pressure levels, it’s a very capable tablet. I would especially recommend it for first time digital artists and for use as a travel tablet, when you might not want to pack and haul around more expensive rig. It’s easy to install and troubleshoot, and I haven’t encountered any significant problems during my use. A huge advantage that the pen isn’t battery powered. I’ve found in cheaper Monoprice tablets that battery powered pens are more fragile, since they have to come apart to replace the battery. The VEIKK pen is nice and sturdy, though. It also looks very sleek! The packaging was also really neat and I was surprised to find that it came with usb adapters. It also included extra pen tip nibs and a nib remover, which can be a lifesaver for those who draw with a heavier hand. Overall, a great product for the price. It’s not necessarily the tool I’d choose for serious full time use, but for hobby artists or beginners it’s perfect.

Very good tablet.
I bought it to see if it met my needs to make new digital art as a beginner, but this tablet is great start for a very low price of $25. Good for anyone wanting to start doing entry level digital art than most Wacom products I've used in the past. *Pros* - Minimal, yet sleek design. Great to travel. - Responsive at most times. - Compatible with Photoshop and other image software. - Connectivity through USB 2.0 attached to the tablet is very nice with full functionality. Works with any desktop whether it's prebuilt or custom made and laptops. (Remember to install the driver for this tablet in Admin Mode.) -Pen feels fluid, and a bit relaxing to draw strokes depending how fast I can go. *Cons* Be aware of annoying jitters if you install the driver normally without Admin Mode. They will distract the drawing further. Always make sure that it's ran in admin mode to alleviate that problem. It happened to me once on my first S640 as I didn't know what I was doing, but my second one worked well with very little to almost no jitters doing this method. - Slight issue with the squeaking sound emitted from the tip of the pen to the surface of the S640. It was bothersome a bit, but I bear with it due to how many strokes I draw. **Overall** I think the S640 is a great choice for beginners looking to draw digital art for the first time or those who want to transition from physical art and having to scan which saves time. Despite its very small and portable size, $25 is a good price that is fully worth what you get. If anyone is looking to buy a cheap drawing tablet, then this is for you as I recommend it.

Excellent !
Just recevied it today, it color me surprised, it was better than I expected. The dimensions are 218mm x 130mm x 9mm, which come with a battery free pen with 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. The tablet is really light, approx 0.34Kgs in total. The work area is not that big, just enough to work comfortable with, and the surface has a paper like texture, making it feel like if you’re using papel itself! Quick to install and easy to understand and handle. Moving to the pen, it has two quick task buttons that you can change at your will. Light and with a nice design, it comes with 8 replaceable nibs, easy to change. I tried it with MediaBang, Krita and Paint Tool Sai, it worked perfectly in every of them. It’s a pretty good tablet for those who are thinking to immerse themself in digital art, without being overwhelmed by expenses and more complex graphic tablets. You can also use it for playing games like Osu! As a experience player myself, I found the Veikk S640 excellent for the game. The size is really comfortable, and it doesn’t have any kind of delay with the cursor. If you’re and early stage artist, and a Osu! player who is in a budget, this is definitely a must buy!

It's my computer, not the tablet
I'm not sure this tablet is really designed to do what I wanted to do with it. I have 2 external monitors attached to my laptop. When I try to limit the tablet to a section on just one screen it doesn't actually place it in the area it's limited to. Instead, it just moves the cursor around at the bottom of the screen. It doesn't work as I had hoped it would, but I'm going to play with it more when I have time. What I wanted was to be able to draw on PDF in Microsoft Edge's PDF viewer. It will draw in the application, just not when I put it on the screen I need to use.

Great tablet at a great price
This tablet didnt turn out as bad as I had thought, because of how cheap it was. For a tablet that is 6x4 it really did do the job. But for me personally I like a bigger tablet like my Huion HS610. Although if you are a beginner looking to start out with something, then I do recommend this tablet. Good cheap starter. I did have a few problems though while connected it to Paint tool sai but the tech helped with that so that's good. There are some good things about this tablet: Its Portable (it ways like nothing like seriously) No need to charge it or the pen It comes with extra nibs You can just connect it and it'll work ( drivers are there in case you need to fix something like sensitivity or update it) Sensitivity levels of up to 8192 Some Inconveniences: The pen has some squeaking to it when you first start, might go away as you use it. The buttons are a bit iffy/difficult to use Other than that like I said, for such a cheap tablet, this is a great first step into the digital art world.

Compact, Budget-Friendly Tablet for Beginner and Hobbyist Artists
I’ll start off by saying that for a budget tablet, I really enjoy its performance. It’s compact, well designed, and easy to set up. It’s very minimalist, so it’s very simple to use. I feel that for a beginner hobbyist artist, this would be an ideal tablet. With many other tablets, I had a lot of issues setting up drivers. However, I had no problem with this one. I have to admit I was shocked when I plugged the tablet in, downloaded the driver, and was drawing within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box. The pen pressure was fine, there was no lagging, it worked just as good as my larger, more expensive tablets that I’ve had in the past. I use Clip Studio Paint and this tablet worked very well with it. I had no problems getting it to work, I was able to use it right out of the box. The simplicity of use with this tablet makes it easy to open my computer and start drawing without having to fuss over settings and driver issues like I have had to in the past. My only concern with this tablet is the size. It’s very small, so using it for long periods of time could cause stress on the wrist. I don’t see this as being a problem for beginner artists, but for professionals, art students, or anyone who draws for more than a few hours a day, a bigger tablet may be better suited. This tablet is incredibly thin, which I find helps to alleviate wrist stress a bit, so even the size issue isn’t too bad. For beginner or hobbyist artists I wouldn’t consider this to be a problem at all. Overall this tablet exceeded my expectations. For a tablet under 30$, it performs just as well as tablets I’ve spent 70$+ on. It’s compact size makes it easy to store, and it’s minimalist design makes it very easy to set up.

A beautiful introduction to beginning digital artists
To sum up and present a more simpler look into my thoughts with this tablet, I enjoyed using it at every bit. It's a good price for beginners and gives you accessibility making it useful for anyone who varies from phone to computers. One of my biggest ups for it was the size as well, making it easier and more efficient to color in my line art and shading as well as doing quick sketch work. As for downsides there were far n few and those were mostly technical issues on my end. I wasn't able to work with the tablets drivers from using an long outdated computer but despite hearing others having issues, mine works fine as of using my Surface Pro 6 filling in the gap with pressure sensitivity and using a left or right handed mode. For a first time working with a tablet to this degree, this is a very good introduction to digital art and also a neat tablet to use when you're looking to jam out to OSU! (Just to note that to use the tablet there are small adapters that come with the Veikk in which you plug in to where your charger would go)

Conventional!
Nicely packed. Easy to use and features are functional. Really helped me to start sketching again. A very useful tool in many aspects. I'm also using it whenever I teach my kids far away from home for their home school studies. Great product at good cost. Highly recommended!

Really good product. Good travel size, easy installation, easy to use. Would suit beginners for sure. Just need to uninstall other tablet drivers for it to work correctly but other than that its a great device.
