Really pretty

I use Pinata brass almost exclusively in my alcohol ink art! It is so much more beautiful than the other alcohol ink company’s gold color, and it behaves much better than most other metallic inks I’ve tried. I love that pixis provides you with a needle tip bottle bc I always do half gold ink + half alcohol in those little bottles. Doing it this way, Ive found, prevents the gold from clumping up and ruining my piece. I love all the Pixis products I’ve ever purchased, and will continue to order this product from them.

If I could give lower than 1 star, I would for this vendor. I'd been waiting for this for a while and when it finally came, I was so anxious to use it in a piece. When I did, it was a real dud! I didn't get any good shine in the AI piece I was working on.....I had used Pinata Gold as a substitute and it gave me the reflective properties I was hoping for with the Brass. Second BIG down side is that it is NOT refundable so I'm out $20! They also didn't give me an opportunity to replace it.

It was a gift

As many reviewers have mentioned previously, this product arrived in a sticky bag (clearly it had leaked), and does not work the way it is supposed to. It does not float on top of the ink and form veins of metallic, but, rather, sinks in and spreads across the substrate like a mixative. I am not sure why this batch behaves this way, but there it is. I tried 99% isopropyl, Ranger Blending Solution, Pinata Extender, and my own DIY blending solution, and nothing worked. Amazon was very quick to refund my purchase price.

That’s Piñata Brass!! Beautiful isn’t it! Really amazing that they include a terrific precision tip bottle so it’s a piece of cake to use- it goes right where I put it. No bottles leakage it’s from Pyxis and is very functional it’s such a great color.
