These bulbs seem to be absolutely fine and all six worked out of the box. However, just to point out that the brand is actually LAEKS, manufactured in China

5 of these bulbs for £8.99 is very good value and much cheaper than I've found before. The light is definitely very white, so might be too bright for a bedside lamp - mine is bedside but is a rock crystal lamp and the change of light compared to 'ordinary' cooker hood bulbs is very noticeable. Good for reading in bed and would be great ideal for where you need good daylight white lighting. Seem to be well made and screwed in without any problem.

Bright white colour. Could literally "see" the difference after changing my old bulbs in the kitchen. Good value for money (less than 10 pounds for 6 bulbs, cheaper than I paid before for a bunch). Overall, happy.

I still can not understand how they manage to get these 5 watt bulbs to generate 40 watts of light. They're small, bright and do exactly that which I anticipated them to do, coupled with the energy saving element makes these a winner for me. With a pack of 6 these should last me a long time.

Needed to replace all the bulbs in my rented flat to be more energy efficient, and these seem to fit the bill perfectly. Great price, give off very decent light, and most importantly have a low energy usage. Very happy with them so far, and are much brighter than my previous bulbs.

Very bright LED's at a good price.I'm pleased with this purchase.Recently I changed all of the bulbs on my old fridge from incandescent bulbs to 6000K led.It has really brought new life to it. No more being blinded at 3am for a drink of water.This light is bright. I also used it for my kitchen ceiling.Merchants say not only can be used for refrigerators, but also for chandeliers, hoods and so on.I will buy it more to try.I have no issues with these bulbs. They were easy to screw in and worked immediately.The low cost was great, combine that with Prime shipping and it's a pretty great deal.
