FOR Volkswagen VW GOLF MK6 JETTA MK5 RCD510 RNS510 5KD 035 724 CAR Aux input adapter

Item is built okay, but the AUX connector at the back of the unit wasn't set up properly. The pins at the back were mismatched and therefore it worked when plugged in but the volume was super quiet and sounded awful. After 30 minutes of messing around and rearranging the pins into the back of the headunit using the diagram I managed to get it to work. Definitely shouldn't have to do that for a cable I paid £15 for. Overall it does the job but does require some disassembly.

Doesn't fit. Tried installing on a MK6 Golf with RCD510 but the white connector doesn't fit in on the quadlock. Tried over an hour to fit it but it gets stuck on the left side.Watched several videos and it should simply slide in and clip in to place.Not worth the hassle and time to buy. Avoid.

Had to destroy the outer clip to fit in the radio. Does not fit flush in the MK6. Does not work without further software service from a technician if the radio did not originally come with an aux.

I just installed it into my mkV Golf which has a RCD510. The installation process was fine, however when I tried to plug in my aux, the aux port fell out. Now there is just a black hole of sadness.

Really good product. Just do your research which VW golf Mk6 head unit you have.

fitting the product was not easy. Great value for money.

Do not purchase this item it is very difficult to install and has a very bad sound quality
