Melinda's Mango Habanero Hot Pepper Sauce

Very very good flavor!

This sauce, as well as the others, is absolutely delicious!!! Excellent fruity flavor from mango with just the right amount of heat but not overwhelming.

It was very tasty we used it on our air fryer chicken. A little spicy but it was worth it.

This is an excellent product. I love the taste and use it liberally and often. One caveat. This is not a tasty hot sauce. It is, rather, a sauce that has a bit of heat. If you looking for a spicy product you would do best by trying a different flavor.

Horrible Flavor! All I taste is spicy vinegar. Disgusting! I wanted to like this so much.. Buffalo wild wings mango habanero is made with high fructose corn syrup and the other brand I found was zero sugar so you could taste the stevia. This one goes straight in the garbage

The sauce is decent but it's not like the one I tried at a local fried chicken wings store. It has limited mango flavor. I mainly taste the lime and vinegar, and it's more runny than I'd like. It has a spicy, sour tang that makes (particularly greasy foods) more appetizing and it has some heat (like a 2 or 3 out of 10). It dissipates pretty quickly so your mouth doesn't feel uncomfortable. I would have liked it to be sweeter with more mango flavor, and more sticky to actually stick to the food. The sauce I used to eat at the local shop had strong mango flavor, which this needs (but it was painfully spicy yet addictive - perhaps it was artificial). I will definitely finish the bottle, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again.

Years ago when I began to enjoy hot sauce, most of the 'flavor' was the vinegar stabilizer. So, when I started reading labels, I found Melinda's to use citric acid instead of vinegar. It immediately have the flavor of the pepper+heat at various gradients. I worked my way up to XXXX and quickly retreated to fewer X's. Among the varieties of their offerings is the Sweet & Mango which I've very much enjoyed and thus, this re-order as I work my way through the various blends.

I love Melinda's hot sauces, both for the complexity of flavours they build into their different sauces and the all natural ingredients they go with. This mango hot sauce is perfect when you need that juicy sweetness to compliment a dish that only mango can bring, like on top of some spicy Jamaican jerk chicken. It is rated as a one on their heat scale. That should tell you everything, and if you're expecting something really hot, that's your own fault. If you are very sensitive to spices, this will probably be just perfect for you. If you're a heat freak, you'll be able to drink this out of the bottle and think you had mango puree. If you have an average sensitivity to heat, then you won't really feel much except for an ever so slight heat passing on the lips after you've finished eating it.

Not hot at all. Sweet. Nice flavour. Mix it with a sauce that’s too hot. Flavour really nice. Heat nope.
