Laser was extremely powerful for about a week then it stopped working like it did when I first got it. I didn't over use it and kept it on no more than a few seconds at a time and charged batteries only twice in about 8 days. Customer service won't respond to me either

This laser will burn paper towels, candle wicks, wood, drywall, and so forth. Battery life is about a half hour and a couple charge. The laser focuses out from a bar almost to a point. It does not focus to a pinpoint and a pointer of this strength doesn't need to. The laser does come with a black padded case that everything fits in. Build quality of the laser is nice. It is the same as other lasers with the same look I have purchased. So far I have no complaints. I did purchase extra rechargeable batteries. I would also suggest the purchase of red laser safety glasses. The flashlight/red laser pointer/blue light is built well and nice to have since you will not be using the big laser for presentations. Is the 450nm laser more powerful than other ones sold that look just like it? No, so far others I have bought have been the same. When the laser burns out I'll post how many hours I got out of it. Do not leave it on for longer than roughly 5mins at a time as these type of lasers do not have fans to keep them cool or liquid coolant.By the way do not remove the metal rods that line the outside. These are heat sinks and they help keep the laser from overheating too fast.

Laser only work for about a half hour then stopped working completely,save your money and to top of off I have not received my money back or a replacement,complete trash

I purchased this laser for my Father for Christmas and it was exactly as expected until it stopped working all of a sudden. The contact spring in the battery charger also does not make any contact with the right side battery. Kind of disappointing 😞

This is a great laser for the price. Because it is a blue laser, it serves as a wonderful “finger in the sky“ for pointing out constellations, and/or other astronomical targets. A word of caution: at a close distance, this laser is powerful enough to burn and damage drywall, linoleum, and other flammable household items. It would quickly start a fire in the right context. DO NOT point this laser at a human target; it would be a painful mistake.

The two batteries only hold a charge for 45-90 seconds.

This light kills pests in the saltwater aquarium hobby!!! Highly recommend!

This thing is nuts.The box includes a plastic carry case, which holds the laser and another case for the pen light pointer.The pen light is effective at what it does.One AA battery gives you a common red laser pointer, a UV LED light (real blacklight style), and a narrow beam white LED light.Useful all around, I plan to add it to my daily carry.The large blue laser is NOT a pointer. It's way too powerful.Treat this beast with all the respect a thing that can burn the paint off of metal deserves.The included batteries are a giant meh. My tests find that they only hold 200mAh. Get another set.They install with the positive end up.A set of CR123A will fit in the laser, but I have not tested them. Voltage may be too low.While you're getting batteries, get a set of red lens laser glasses, because the reflections from this thing can and will hurt you if you aren't careful."So if it's not a pointer, what is it?"You can still point to things. It's great for astronomy, as the beam is so powerful it's plainly visible in the air. Just make sure there are no planes where you're pointing, or the FAA is going to have a very big problem with you.It's also useful for long range terrestrial pointing, but this can cook eyes out at a very long range, so do be careful.The included decorative tips feel misplaced in the box of a laser this strong, but if you want to put on a show you can. Just don't do it on anything imminently flammable.But where it really "shines" is as a close range etcher.The focus ring on the front allows you to set it for a decent spot at all working distances, or close it in for a tight spot up close, but a blurry bar at a distance.This mode can burn nearly anything. Plastic, wood, drywall, cardboard, paper, yourself, your clothes, and most impressively I've even blasted the paint off of painted metal!You can also use it to burn pests, just be mindful of reflections and what's behind your target.
