It is a very good thermometer with all the parts provided. Genuine product.

almost impossible to read the reading as the silver colour of mercury forms an extremely thin line to figure out the value on the gauge.

Good one... though not 100% perfect product.
I am satisfied with this instrument. The temparature it shows is almost same with the temparature apps or websites show. In the second photograph you can see another thermometer. It has red colored spirit( alcohol). This instrument is not perfect. It always shows the temp lower by 1.5 to 2 degree. So never go for such instruments. The Zeal instrument is a mercury instrument which is difficult to get in the market. Though it is easier to see the temp in red one and difficult to see in the mercury one, but with little practice you can see it easily. Then why 4 starts? Only issue is the calibration done by the manufacturer is not 100% precise. See the first image; you will see a little difference in both the tubes. ( Please note that I have taken the photograph with the cotton wick removed from the wet bulb) Though it is a very minor difference I expect the measuring instrument to be 100% perfect! That's it... Please don't hesitate to buy this instrument. It is much much better than what is available in market in this price range.
