A Helpful Guide to Storytelling
I speak to groups of different sizes several times a week, and while I have consistently used stories in the course of my talks, I have to admit that my efforts haven’t been all that effective. My stories lacked emotional impact and didn’t always connect with my audience. A few weeks ago I came across Michael Hague’s book, Storytelling Made Easy, on the Amazon website and, after reading its description and a few of the reviews, I decided to buy it. What a smart move that was! The author took me step by step through the process of preparing emotionally compelling stories with a six-part structure, and, as a result, I began to feel like this was something I could do. I even found the process of writing and then sharing emotionally compelling stories to be a great deal of fun. Of course, there were challenges. My first attempts were clumsy, and I found some of the steps (like interviewing the “characters” in my stories) difficult. Nevertheless, my listeners began to give me positive feedback about my talks, commenting in particular on the stories I told. I’ll never forget a conversation I had with an audience member two or three days after a presentation. He made it a point to tell me how a certain story I told affected him. It was a very rewarding moment for me, to say the least. Thanks to Michael Hague’s book, I feel like I have a powerful set of tools for preparing and telling meaningful, emotionally satisfying stories that inform, inspire, and motivate others. If you are involved in marketing, sales, or public speaking, I believe you will find Storytelling Made Easy a helpful resource to have at your fingertips.

Want to Make Money by Telling Your Stories? Learn From the Best in the Business!
It is a privilege and delight to learn from true master, Michael Hauge. His knowledge of storytelling and its psychological impact on an audience has been developed over decades and is mastered to perfection! As a psychotherapist, I greatly appreciate Michael's understanding of what psychologically captivates an audience and inspires them to pay for a product or service. The intelligent, honest, humorous, and down-to-earth style of the author make this book a joy to read. His list of basic fears we all have are ones I thought were unique to me and unsolvable, and I now feel that I am on the right track to success. I found myself smiling often, delighted by his refreshing candidness and integrity that is so needed in this world. Michael is a genuine teacher - smart, generous, organized, and effective at turning people into storytellers who elicit emotions in their audience. Emotions are a form of energy and energy inspires action (in the form of money exchange, positive behavior changes, shifts in perspective, etc.). I am an avid reader and an ambitious learner, and when learning any new skill or subject, I always seek out the very best in the field. If you would like to influence others in any way, including having them pay you for the value you provide, you must learn the art of storytelling and you will learn from the best with this book.

The best investment on books that I've made, yet!
Deserves better than five stars. Professionally written by a man with decades of experience with storytelling, and teaching others to write great story. Clarity. Concise. Easy to understand. Powerful methodology and formula for writing successful stories. I hate to admit this... because I don't want my competition to discover this book -- but the author deserves praise for his outstanding masterpiece. What I like most about it -- besides the winning and powerful formula he reveals is -- it's written in a way that marketers will find it gives them the missing link in authoring powerful and successful stories. Out of at least 100 books I've bought on Amazon... I'd rate this as the best and most valuable investment in time and money on books. Yes. It's that good. No. I don't know the author (I just discovered him while purchasing a different book)... and I'm not a robot and I've not received anything to rate and review this book. ;-)

I bought 5 copies of this for my friends
Storytelling is a big part of my business. Having said that, I've been puzzled why some of my copy unexpectedly became home runs while others that I had high hopes for - fall flat.Michael's book opened my eyes as to why that is.When I compared my work against his story structure, I saw patterns. It told me why some stories consistently worked and why others didn't. Sometimes it's just a matter of the sequence of how I told the story, sometimes I've omitted a critical part of the story without even knowing about it.His mindmap downloads are a great tool to keep handy. It serves as my checklist whether my story is ready for broadcast. This is a great read especially for online entrepreneurs who want to connect with their audience at a deeper level while growing their business along the way.

Hauge is the real deal. Buy this book
Michael Hauge is the real deal. I've watched him interviewed on YouTube, and he is informative and very insightful. Because of those interviews and his blog, I decided I needed to buy his book. In it, he lays out what he believes in. I'm not going to go into what all he has to say, but suffice it to say, he has great insight and lays it out so it's easily understood.Screenwriting is a craft and an art. It helps if you are a gifted writer, which I am not. Hauge cannot teach talent. But I think he helps you get as much from your talent as possible..Recommended

Simply brilliant
I love books that just get to the point and deliver the promised result. This is one of those. I used this book as research for a talk and have some prize quotes now. Huge kudos to the author who has made the hero's journey so simple and easy to generate whether it is your own story, a testimonial or a talk. Not sure I need to bother reading Campbell now!
