I first bought these gloves in grey and measured out in size Medium. They didnt do anything but keep my hands warm. They were to loose.So, this time I bought them in black Small. They are wonderful. I'm a knitter and I have arthritis in both my hands.These black smalls give me just enough compression to almost be pain free although I can only knit an hour or two now.They came in excellent condition. I just stretched them gently before I put them on and with a few hours moving my hands they were very comfortable and stayed just tight enough. I will definitely get more. I think my upper palm measured 3.5. I have average size hands..

Takes some getting used to as the compression is tight. Makes typing difficult. But noticeably reduces pain and swelling.

This is the second pair of this brand I have purchased. They are more expensive than other brands, but you get what you pay for. Very comfortable tow sleep in or wear all day. I have washed my first pair a lot and they are still great. I expect the same from this pair. I needed a black pair for work which is why I purchased another pair. My first pair was size medium- they work but I like the snug feel of the small. My hands are 3 1/2 inch when measured as instructed. Wish more colors were available.

The gloves for arthritis made by IMAK provide the right amount of relief without cutting off circulation. They also fit well and are made of soft fabric

I found the compression to be very good. However, after one use, there is a small hole in the palm of one glove.

I'm not sure how compression gloves are suppose to work, but if you're suppose to put them on, feel like your circulation is being cut off, feel more pain, then feel sweet relief after you rip them off in a fit of panic, then yeah, they work.I'm new to arthritis and thought compression gloves would help. My hands measured 2 7/8" so I ordered the small. They feel way too tight. They fit fine on my hand, but the finger holes are too tight and I have small fingers (size five ring). Also the fabric is very thick, preventing range of motion. I thought they would help with flexibility, but they're too thick to make a fist. The seller and Amazon were great about getting me a refund, and this is more about compression gloves overall. I tried another brand and had the same reaction.

Good fit, comfortable, 92% cotton, 8% spandex. Great for us purists. What's not to love.
