It simplifies the story told in the film to its core elements and, in conjunction with letting him watching the various Planes trailers on YouTube, gave him enough understanding to be gripped throughout the movie. This is quite something as the film has quite a lot of twists and turns which might otherwise be hard for a young child to follow. The illustrations in the book are lovely, naive and a little old-fashioned, which helps to make the book enjoyable for both the child and the adult reading it. Lucky for me as it is one of my son's most frequently selected bedtime stories! The book would also be suitable for young readers in year 2 or 3. Review: prompt delivery - PRESENT

Cute and simplifying
We bought this to read to my three and a half year old Disney Cars-mad son before taking him on his first trip to the cinema to watch Disney Planes. It simplifies the story told in the film to its core elements and, in conjunction with letting him watching the various Planes trailers on YouTube, gave him enough understanding to be gripped throughout the movie. This is quite something as the film has quite a lot of twists and turns which might otherwise be hard for a young child to follow. The illustrations in the book are lovely, naive and a little old-fashioned, which helps to make the book enjoyable for both the child and the adult reading it. Lucky for me as it is one of my son's most frequently selected bedtime stories! The book would also be suitable for young readers in year 2 or 3.

Great kids book
Fantastic gift, kids loved it and was very educational for kids reading and spelling. I would definitely recommend it, especially at the great price.

It tells the main storyline from the film
This book tells of the main plot lines from the film - it could have one or two more moments from the film in it hence 4 stars, but I suppose they have to have a cut off point. Lovely big pictures over whole pages, easy to read. We have other books in this series too. Slightly flimsy as paper pages and the board front and back are basic, but our little boy likes it.

It's not good quality, the book hasn't got that spine part, like someone MDF it up lol, scared to bend book open

GoldenBooks are always a winner
This is a nice little summary of the movie "PLANES". The Golden Book illustrations are cute, and this is a nice short story to read to your little one who loves Planes....or just loves books in general!

プレーンズ好きの息子(3歳）は英語の意味は分かりませんが絵を見て喜んでいます！DVDを見て内容は分かっているので興味があるようで読み聞かせると聞いてくれます！ 英語の読み聞かせにちょうどよく買ってよかったです！

This is a really cute version of the book based on the Disney film. My 3 year old boy loves it. It is bound like the other Disney Little Golden Books.
