Not suitible for the UK homes! Dangerous!
Why is this product allowed to be sold for the UK market without any notice or warning?!!! The plug is for US but that's not the major issue here, the voltage is 120V! If you plug this in the UK with an adoptor, you would blow up thhe vacuum cleaner! Dangerous! Now I have to make a trip to drop it off to a collection centre, what a waste of time!!!!

Wrong plug fitted.
Seemed like a well built vacuum cleaner but the plug was a US two pin connector that I had no adapter for, never even got to try it, shame, looks good.

Not compatible in UK
Why are Amazon UK selling this ? It's American and not compatible with UK electric supply . There's no plug on it either. Going straight back . Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero

Excellent vacuum
Great vacuum, easy to use and cleans well! Much better than a bag-less vacuums, which are a mess! Strong suction and cleaning power. Feels like it's self propelled on carpet which makes it effortless to use. This is probably the best vacuum we've ever owned. Bagged is definitely the way to go, we go about 3 months or more before having to replace, they're inexpensive, and it's not a big dust mess like our old bagless vacuums were.

Comparing the Kenmore to a Miele
We have a full size Miele upright vacuum. It has worked well for around 8 years, but as we get older it is very heavy. At almost 26 pounds, and costing almost $700, it has everything you would want in a vacuum except light weight. So we decided to buy a much lighter model. After looking around for many months the Kenmore Intuition came on the market. Looking on Consumer Reports, a Kenmore model was the top brand for a model with a bag. But since the Intuition is a new model, it had not been tested. It turned out to be a great purchase. Listed are the items that are important to me on the Miele that and how they compare to the Kenmore. 1. Weight - The Kenmore is almost half the weight, so much easier to use. It doesn't feel as well made as the Miele with its mostly metal design, as compared to plastic, but then again that is what makes it so light. And maybe what helps in making almost 1/3 the price! 2. Suction - Hands down the Kenmore has a lot more suction! You get close to something on our hardwood floors and it pulls it in. And on carpet it seems to really suck the dirt out. 3. Bag system - The Miele has a great bag on it and connector to install and take it out. Same on the Kenmore. The Kenmore may have a little edge here as the whole top comes off so you put it right over the trash and take out the bag. But that doesn't really matter, as both machines have a bag that seals up as you take it out of the machine. 4. Hepa filter - Both machines have a three way filter. A great bag, a small foam filter and a larger Hepa filter. Same design and it works really well. 5. Light - Both have a good LED light to see under items. The Kenmore may be a little better here. 6. Removable hose with several attachments carried on the machine. Both have this. The Miele hose hard tube part will expand and get larger, while the Kenmore stays the same long length. I like the design of the Miele a little better here, but for one really important design difference. The Kenmore allows the whole top of the machine to come off and you can carry around the hose unit without the floor base. So this makes it 10 times better in using the hose with attachment. 7. Maneuverability - This is one area where the Kenmore falls down a little. The head on the Miele turns better than the Kenmore. The only thing that helps out with the Kenmore is that it is so light, but can drag it around anyway. So maybe a half a star better for Miele. 8. Suction control - The Miele has a knot on it that will turn down the suction. This is used for different rug types, and for hardwood floors. Update —- I FOUND the suction control on the handle of the Kenmore and it does help on the small rugs! The Kenwood does not have this control. I thought it would be missed. Well it is on small 2 by 4 foot throw rugs. With the Meile you turn the suction down and you can go over the rug. You can not do that with the Kenwood. It trys to pull the rug up. I have a work around in that I put on the pet brush on the hose and use it at full power. You have to do the extra step, but the full power suction does a better job of cleaning these rugs. Like the one at our front door that get really dirty. It really cleans up this rug and makes it look better than the Miele ever did. And you had to change the suction on the Miele for rug piles. The Kenmore stays on full power and works very well on any rug type. And on hardwood or tile floors also. The thing the Miele can't do is break apart and use the top unit by carrying it around. This is a real plus for us. We have steps that really didn't get the cleaning before that we can now do with the Kenmore. I hope this help others.

Fabulous vacuum
Bought in March of 2024, it's reasonably quiet, suction is great, super versatile, plug it in turn it on -it's super easy - doesn't take up to much space only problem is hose broke between beater bar and bag; I hope this is not an ominous sign, i use it everyday we have pets so I'm constantly vacuuming the carpet, it does a great job. You can get into tight spaces and NO MORE emptying those ridiculous bagless containers that spread dust and shite everywhere; Never buy another bagless. This one is so clean. Bag hold ALOT of dust. It has a warning lights telling when bag needs replacing. I think I'm on my 3rd bag. It's a super vacuum that costs way less than bagless vacuums that are totally inferior. Great value.

light, maneuverable, great filtration, HOSE BROKE after 4 yrs
When we bought this four years ago as an improvement on my 25-yr-old, side-listing Hoover, I immediately loved the Kenmore Intuition's light weight and maneuverability. Its superior suction showed us just how badly the Hoover had been performing. I also liked this vac's ability to break down into different reach options. It's true that the hose isn't terribly long or stretchy, so when you're cleaning with the attachments, the vacuum body tends to lean toward you and sometimes fall over. It's just as hard to clean out the hairs that accumulate around the roller bar as it was on our old Hoover and I wonder now if we would have liked better one billed as "pet friendly" (we don't have a lot of pet hair, but several long-haired women!). The filtration system is excellent - you can suck up a stink bug and your nose will never know!! It's also much easier to vacuum the stairs with this upright than with my old one because of its lighter weight and smaller footprint. It's designed to lay flat to vacuum under furniture, and it does this well, but the depth of the vac body prevents it from getting very far underneath anything. Now for the reason I decided to finally review the thing: we just discovered, four years in, that the vac tube connecting the body to the head is split in half! Not sure how long it's been like that, but that's a design flaw; they should have used a more pliable plastic. Fortunately it's a $14 piece that my husband is planning to replace. Maybe vacuums aren't made to last 25 years anymore but I don't want to throw something that big into a landfill if we can fix it.
