Lid not secure and no freshness seal

It's all heat, baby.
There pretty much is no flavor. And that's the best thing about this. It's all heat, baby. It'll ratchet up the heat without changing the flavor. Are you tired of food that claims to be (spice) hot but isn't up to your standard? This is the answer. You can go through the trouble and grow peppers and make your own powder or buy this. Just buy this and be done with it. It will last you a while, even using it every day.

This is super spicy hot
Extremely spicy. Very good to use if you want to build your tolerance to spicy things. Literally start out lightly tapping the powder out to a light dusting on whatever you’re eating. After using this for a month or two, I can now add tablespoons of hot sauce and whole jalapeños to my food and it’s great flavor and mildly spicy. Still working my tolerance on the Carolina reaper powder so I can enjoy the flavor even more. Still great flavor even when food is very lightly sprinkled with this powder.

Can taste a bit of spice, but it doesn't knock my socks off.
To preface this review: My spice tolerance level is pretty high. Unless a place has a medical waiver and is using straight industrial processed capsaicin extracts to give you a chemical burn I don't ever have food in restaurants that is too spicy. Only very rarely does it even register as a tingle on the lips for me. That stated, this powder does have a bit of flavor and I can at least register that there is something there, so those with a lower spice tolerance may find it spicy. Maybe if I doused my food with it it would have a little spice for me. Hopefully you're not as spice burned out as I am and can more thoroughly enjoy this spice.

Good proper heat
Good proper carolina reaper level heat, it's missing the fruity taste of the real pepper obviously because it's in powder form, but still great addition to your cooking if you want to add a little kick, or to add if you don't want to share your food with non-spicy lover. The heat doesn't linger as long as I expected, but this is best bang for your buck if you looking for quick heat.
