Somehow I had made it to 2024 and had never owned or lived somewhere with a refrigerator water and ice dispenser. I bought a house with one a year ago, I never use the water dispenser, but the ice tasted a little off. I thought I would have to take off a panel and possibly break a plastic snap-fit to replace the filter. Nope, that's why you need to look thongs up on YT. The filter was right there in the front-middle as you open the doors. If it was alive, it would have bit me. I ordered these, ran 4 gallons of water, and completely emptied the ice tray twice, and the ice tastes so much better now. I then looked up the model year refrigerator and serial number, luckily the fridge was only a year and a half old, at most. Which tells you how often you really should be changing the filter. I will be buying these again in the future!
