I recently bought a Honda cb500x for my commute to work and needed some gear/armor to wear for safety. I found this jacket and, at first, kind of thought it was too cheap (price wise) and couldn’t be of good quality. I’m glad I trusted the other reviews. This might be the best piece of gear I’ve bought so far. Now, I have no idea of the protection/“slide” quality yet, thank goodness, but everything else is great. I ordered a size up and it fits perfectly after snugged up with the snaps/buckles. Now, when I say perfectly, I mean it’s a little big but works for what I need. I would suggest anyone buying to size up one, just in case. I’m 6’ 3” and 225, and I wear a XL most of the time, but I bought a 2x and it’s great for me. It would allow me to wear something thin underneath for warmth. It’s lightweight and breathable for hot days. It’s also “warm enough” for cool 50 degree morning commutes. It has what seems to be a great zipper and Velcro. The Velcro almost sticks “too much”, but that means I know anything in the pockets is secure. It looks great (I got the red and black to match my bike), and has reflective logos for safety. It’s made of thick, high quality materials. It has 2 front and 2 back vents for air flow. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. I hope to buy the pants soon for longer moto-camping trips. All in all, this is amazing piece of gear for the price. If you’re in doubt, buy it. You won’t be disappointed, unless you’re a gear snob that’s used to $300-400 jackets. Why pay that price when this works just as well? Happy riding!! ❤️

This jacket would be an awesome deal at twice the price! It is extremely versatile, fits me perfectly, and the cordura material is heavy and well stitched. The only thing I don’t know yet is how well the ventilation will work on hot days because this jacket is so hefty it feels more like an all season jacket than a summer lightweight jacket. Colors are beautiful and the green not only compliments the black, but it’s highly visible. And, since I ride a Z1000 Kawasaki it follows the factory color scheme Kawasaki is known for. Solid zipper, fully adjustable arms and waist straps, and all covered by Velcro overlay for waterproof resistant features. After wearing on a 95 degree day, it ventilated very well and kept me cool. Highly Impressed! Worth every penny!

Worth every penny. Had a drunk driver pull out infront of me in a blind turn. Couldn't brake completely and had to lay my motorcycle down. Slid in asphalt, grass, and gravel. Only have an impact laceration on my right elbow. Padded armor and thick material kept me from getting any roadrash and held up well enough for a 30ft+ slide across all of it. Only a cracked tail-light, scuffed engine guard, and bent foot peg. Might get a gnarly bruise but better than any skin graft. I have to buy a new jacket now but is a hell of a lot cheaper then the hospital. Fits remarkably well with multiple adjustable points to get a snug fit. Does have 4 breath points but they don't do the best job. Definitely gets hot if you arent cruising and stuck in the sun. There were some spots where the stitching on the inside and seams should have been a double stitch because the single sticker were coming loose prior to the slide. Zipper and velcro did an amazing job holding together.wish the foam was 1-2mm thicker on the forearm portion and spine portion. Could definitely feel that durring the slide. Regardless this did its job and I would reccomend it for anyone needing an entry level riding jacket.

Runs a little tighter. I normally wear a 2xl -- 6ft 240 lb with 50 inch chest -- so might have wanted a 3xl instead. pants bought at same time supposed to match but a color was a little off between them. PANTS ARE GREAT! Fit just right with cinches on them and allow for you to wear sweats and long underwear in December and riding shorts under them in the summer. Would buy both again!

I bought this jacket unsure if I was going to like. I’m not a fan of this stile of riding wear. I drive 40 miles to work at 3:30 in the morning on the interstate doing 80mph and was hoping to find something the will help save my skin if I go down. I went through the reviews and I saw a few pics of jackets after wrecks and it held up pretty well. After seeing them I was convinced to give it a try. I order the black and green for visibility reasons. The jacket showed up two days later in all black (wasn’t thrilled) but I still thought I’d give it a try and if I hated it I would look return it. First morning trip to work I didn’t realize it was supposed to be low 50’s. All I had on was a lite breathable construction shirt and figured it was going to be a cold ride. The jacket isn’t very thick feeling.To my surprise the jacket kept me nice and comfortable at 80mph. I’ve had much thicker jackets that I’ve froze my butt off in. I was seriously impressed. Now to try this thing in some heat. My afternoon ride home it was 85 out. Normally I’d just ride in my t-shirt so I don’t overheat but I thought I’d give the jacket and it’s cooling vents a try. Again to my surprise I stayed pretty comfortable in it. I did leave the cuffs loose to help get a breeze up my arms. After a 40 some odd minute ride I wasn’t a sweaty mess like I expected. My only complaint ( not the coats fault ) is I bought an xl and it just a bit loose. Of course I colder weather this will probably work to my advantage if I’m wearing layers. So at this moment I rate this jacket as a 5. I can say I’m overall super happy with it, even if I didn’t get the color I ordered. I will update this review if anything changes. Happy buying

Jacket is good quality and great price but runs small. I bought a 3xl for my big husband who usually wears 2xl shirts. It fits me and I wear large shirts.

This jacket is very decently priced, has adequate protection, and the vents work well even during the summer heat. With sizing, i went up one size on the chart, and it fits well. Would recommend for anyone looking for protection on a budget.

This jacket is a real bargain. The quality is great it fit true to the size guide. Looks very nice. Going to be great for cool weather riding this fall. I am very glad I bought it.

I find it extremely difficult to beat the price when you think about it! Comfortable, snug fit, warm yet it’s breathable! Bought it with the pants combo and I was skeptic about it first being a fraction of the price at the store. Amazing product!

Great biker jacket. Other reviews said fits small, we went up one size and glad we did, fits perfect and room for a sweater. Strong velcro and double seam zipper, nice air vents and good protection pads. Highly recommended.
