Good little welder
Just been using this welder for flux welding. I'm more experienced in 3 phase mig and stick welding, but What a cracking little welder never done flux welding before, used 0.8 wire ,I've had no trouble with it what so ever. Only thing I say to people when buying this is get a flux shield/shroud ( take the gas shield off , you don't need it and you can see the pool better ) to stop the end of the gun from arcing against the metal when in a tight spaces and get some splatter paste for the end of the nossle..

Brilliant just change the fuse before use to save burning your house down
Perfect little welder I've only used with e6013 2.5mm arc rods at the min to repair the trailer after snapping the axle on the way to our caravan got recovered 30 miles to caravan Welded it up one morning Loaded it up an drove the trailer back 200 miles 3 hours without stopping The only thing I dont agree with is the 30a fuse in a 13a supply I just swapped with a 13 amp fuse for safety and I've now cut the plug off and fitted a 16a commando plug as that's the style extention I already carry with me among with adaptors to make it plug into a standard 13a socket if needed but did the job just change the fuse so you dont burn your house or caravan down I'll be keeping in my boot as its tiny and handy to have with the rest of the tools I carry

Really good budget MIG.
For the price excellent value, just get some 0.8mm wire instead of the supplied 1mm if you plan on welding anything thin.

TOTAL JUNK!
Total junk, tried it a few times then gave up. Tried to return it to Amazon, as thats who I bought it off: But I can't! No option to return, just options to go to the makers troubleshooting pages. Just don't buy one, they are cheap but thats not important as this POS doesn't work at all, if it was capable of actually welding to a satisfactory level then I'd keeo it as a backup. I'm going to pursue a return through Amazon, as they are who I bought it off, my contract is with them, and thats who should be dealing with the return!

Great bit of kit for the money.
I am NOT a skilled welder but have used welders at work for small jobs, so I knew the fundamentals of using one and found loading the flux core wire easy to do and get spot welding on the garden furniture....PLEASE NOTE : the 0.8mm tip is already installed on this machine, so you might need to swap it for the 1mm if you use the included spool (check beforehand). The repairs went well and took little time to dial in the correct amps/feed setting to create strong welds, it is pretty obvious I'm not neat or skilled but I will practice and hopefully get better.
