I was amazed this actually worked! I had spray back up just in case. Didn’t need it! Candle was perfect. Even flies stayed away. Great aroma. Got two for the area, only needed one. Great price.

The smell is great and it is effective for keeping the mosquitoes away.

I tried this mosquito candle for some backyard evenings, and while it helps a little, it’s not a complete solution. The scent is pleasant and not too overpowering, and it does seem to reduce the number of mosquitoes nearby—but not completely. You still might need extra protection if you’re in a heavily infested area. It’s decent for small spaces or light mosquito presence, but don’t expect it to keep all the bugs away. Good as part of a broader bug-repellent setup.

One candle cover an area of a few feet. The proper way to use this is to have at least 4 candles that have overlapping coverage in the form a square arrangement. I use 4 of these candles in my backyard when we are sitting outside. I have a candle in each corner of a square. The candles are about 10 feet apart. When we do that, they rarely come near us. We tried one candle and it does not work effectively. You have to be inside the square for this to work.
