For the most part these were great. Once I got the trick the 2nd one went together much more easily. I recommend using a thinner needle when applying the handles as it was pretty hard to punch through with the needle they give you. My fingers got pretty beat up. Also, don't sew along where they cut out the corners, sew one straight corner on each end. I tucked the corners in and they made a nice neat finish.

They are worth the cost. Very excited to get started. The only step missing in the video is the embroidery on the fabric. You should do the embroidery first before putting the purse together. Otherwise it's so cute

I’m impressed by this kit so far, though I’m only on the embroidery part yet. There’s plenty of thread, the kid comes with thread snips, hoop, threaders, and decent quality embroidery floss. It didn’t get tangled when I separated it. I can’t fault it, let’s see how I feel when I get to the step of putting the bag together.

I was originally very excited to try this out. however, after spending about three weeks working on and off on the embroidery, I tried to assemble the purse only to find horribly translated instructions and that the clasp was not fitting properly. the video provided for instructions does not match the purse that was in the kit I received, and the translation was poor on all accounts. I wouldn't waste your money on this. three weeks of my life I'm never getting back.

I would give this 5 stars because if looks like quality material and it's packaged very nice and neat but the interactions are very basic and pictures are not clear. I am just going to have to guess.

I got this purse to go with a few solid black dressy outfits I have for going out to dinner etc. I was hesitant to get the gold color because often they can be too much of a shiny gold color and look tacky. This one is a semi matte soft and more subtle gold color and exactly what I hoped for. I really like the woven look and that the handle is made of the same woven material and seamlessly extends from the bag. The space between the bag and handle is a little tight but there is an included shoulder strap that can be attached. It’s a small purse, as advertised and may not be enough for an everyday purse; I think it’s best suited as an evening bag for dinners or daytime outings where you don’t need to bring a ton of stuff with you. Overall I find it to be a fairly good purse for the approx $40 purchase price.

The description wasn’t very clear so let me just say that, yes, 2 projects come with your purchase. Both are absolutely adorable. Easy to stitch. A little tricky to attach the clasp but that could just be me.

The instructions could be clearer, pretty good quantity of materials, had some thread left and it brings all the materials needed so very good for a road trip project!!

I am quite experienced at sewing.Took this darn purse apart multiple times and still couldn’t get the closure to fit properly. The instructions seem to be poorly translated by someone with no fluidity in English. This is an exercise in frustration.
