Expensive but good quality and style

The Ergobaby Bouncer has been a lifesaver! It’s incredibly ergonomic and provides great support for my baby. The design is perfect for keeping the baby comfortable while bouncing, and it’s also really helpful during breastfeeding. My baby loves it, and it makes feeding and soothing so much easier. Highly recommend for any new parent

Lovely and compact

This is next level bouncy chair compared to what we had back in the 90s. They were a thin metal frame with a bit of fabric over it. This is absolutely fantastic, So well made and very sturdy. The breathable fabric is in a lovely light grey colour and has a newborn insert to support a baby from birth. This is easily removed once the baby gets a little bit older. It has various heights that you can adjust it to, To lower it flat you need to release the button underneath and press the panel down, Then pull the button to the side Which allows the chair to drop into the flat position. This is great for storage and for when travelling. The chair is quite large, And it is quite heavy, As well as being plus points they are also negatives. The baby can self soothe in this chair so while it is awake and active it can have the chair bouncing, But Once it becomes tired or falls asleep The bouncing will stop. This is beneficial to the baby as it stops it being over reliant on being stimulated to sleep, Which is the downside to the automatic rocking chairs. This chair definitely grows with the child and could be used right through weaning up to toddler stage. The chair is easy to keep clean and the fabric dries really quickly. The breathable fabric helps keep the baby cool when sleeping. The underneath of the base has nonslip material that sticks like glue to any smooth surface. We tested it on our kitchen table which is quite a shiny surface and it took us a lot to be able to move that chair by pushing it. Obviously you wouldn't have the chair on a height but I feel very reassured knowing that the chair will be on laminate floor and no amount of bouncing will make it move. £189.95 does seem quite expensive for a bouncy chair but it's incredibly well-made and feels very safe. It has longevity to it as you can use it from birth up to toddler and You can use it as a feeding chair. Your baby can self soothe, No batteries or mains power needed.

This is a premium quality baby bouncer/recliner/toddler chair which adapts to the size of the child in the weight range 2.5kg - 13.2kg which is approximately 5.5lb - 29.1lb (or just over 2 stone). The bouncer arrived well packaged in an attractive box and is flat - on opening up there is a distinct 'click' as everything goes into place. There's a green button that when pressed locks the bouncer to the desired angle (there are three options to choose from), pressing the red button unlocks the mechanism. The mechanism is operated by depressing a pedal. The 'click' noise is a side lever - to fold the bouncer flat for storage or transportation this needs to be pulled outwards and the bouncer glides closed. When flat the bouncer takes up very little room and could easily be stored behind a sofa or under a bed and would take up very little space in the boot of most cars. There's an insert for newborn or very small babies which is easily removed for cleaning or when the child is bigger. The between legs security strap can also be removed as the child grows - this is held in by the most secure Velcro fastenings I've ever encountered - I struggled to remove it, but I think time, wear and washing will ease that. The entire cover can be removed for cleaning (again, everything is held by Velcro webbing). The security strap has click fastenings that would be very difficult for any child to open and the child is held safely and securely in the chair. The material is a breathable mesh for baby's comfort and it looks and feels very well made and comfortable. There's even a bit of a pouch under the seat to store a toy or two and there's an instruction booklet that has clear and easy to understand diagrams for all the bouncer's functions. The bouncer moves with the natural movement of the baby. Here I tested it out with Teddy Two-Eyes, and no matter how hard I bounced him he was safely held in place, I think he enjoyed the ride! It's well made and feels very stable - there's a nice solid, flat foot and I don't think it will topple and it has a contemporary look that wouldn't be out of place anywhere. At £189.95 (as at 15 November 2024) this is an expensive piece of kit, but I think it is a premium bouncer that can be adapted to the weight and size of the child.

●this bouncer seems to be really good quality and perfect for active babies and toddler up to 13kg but its price, even with 13% off ,£161.46 , at the moment of the review is quite high in my opinion ( reaso I took a star off). Pack contains the 3 in 1 bouncer an user manual. ●the bouncer is really easy to use, it doesn't need any battery or power as it moves up and down in response to baby kicks and movements. Because it doesn't need a power source is very suitable for holidays, trips as it can be used anywhere. It can also be easily adjusted in 3 height positions for extra comfort and to be suitable baby/toddler weight and age. ●the bouncer it is safe( has safety lock, shown in video) and according to baby smilies seems to be very comfortable and enjoyable to use. It has adjustable straps and the material is breathable, so babies doesn't sweat during use and yes, really easy to maintain, the cover comes off and can be washed. There is one thing I would add to this bouncer, a system that could lock the movements while the baby is fed with a spoon.

From the packaging, to the fabrics, to the design, to the colours, everything about this bouncer is beautiful, and carefully thought out. Gone are the days of gaudy colours, and annoying tunes, this bouncer is pure and simple, allowing baby to be gently soothed without over-stimulation. Usable from day 1 to toddler age, the bouncer has 3 adjustable heights, for snoozing, watching the world go by (aka mummy doing the housework!), for feeding, or for chilling with a book or toy. At newborn stage, there’s a separate insert which is super soft and supportive, with comfy jersey knit fabrics, alongside breathable mesh to prevent overheating. At toddler stage, the safety straps can be removed in order to use the bouncer as a chair. No batteries or power needed, the bouncer just uses the gentle momentum created by gently rocking it, or under babies own movement. Ideal to take along too, as it folds very flat for transport or storage. Quite heavy for a bouncer, but this is testament to the quality materials and durability. It’s also reassuring that it won’t tip easily, and along with the good grip underneath you can feel assured that baby is as safe as can be. Covers are easily removed and can be machine washed for convenience. The mesh structure also dries quickly. Additional accessories are available to buy, including a cute toy bar for play when awake. At this price level though, it would have been nice to see this included. Yes, it’s expensive, no doubt about it, but considering the length of time it can be used for, against a standard baby bouncer, and the quality that will easily service several siblings then the bouncer starts to pay for itself. Stunning addition to any nursery.

This comes in unexciting packaging, but it protects the product great, which is main point after all. Here are my main likes and dislikes for this bouncer: Like: Perfect shape for comfort and support Folds fully flat Bluesign certified Easy to clean breathable fabric Covers several years of growth Dislike: High cost Boring colour Doesn’t come with accessories —---------- As you can see, I like a lot of things about this product. The overall design is great, and clearly based around comfort and ease of use. The build quality is excellent, I have zero complaints, which is very rare for me. Any complaints I might have are impossible to remove due to the design, so aren’t really of any value anyway. If they were ‘fixed’ then it wouldn’t work as well or look as good. The price is of course the thing that stands out. £190 is not cheap, although this should last many years, so divide up the cost by, say, three years.. £63 a year isn’t bad at all for a bouncer of this quality. I would prefer a couple of accessories to be included, but none are vital. Overall if you can accept the price then this is a wonderful product and gets a five-star rating.
