Honeywell HJ1 Sunturalux LED Clamp Desk Lamp 1200LM for Home Office

Full assembly is lightweight, weighing maybe a pound or two, and comes with a sturdy steel mount with a wide adjustable screw grip. Lamp has four temperature settings and a dimmer, gets bright enough that it hurts your eyes to work under it. Lamps have diffusers installed, so the light is soft and doesn't cast harsh shadows. Be aware that the maximum depth from the rear vertical mount is about 15 inches. This isn't a problem on my 24" desk (works out perfectly to be honest, as shown in the image), but if you have a deeper work surface and want the lamp closer, you'll have to rig something up. All in all, this lamp is just what I needed. A bit pricey, but the light is right.

The desk lamp costs more than other brands from China, but the quality is much better. It’s bright enough for reading, feels solid and well made, and looks stylish and elegant, not cheap at all. Definitely worth it for long-term use.

I was looking for a quality desk light that was lightweight and could be clamped to a standing desk behind my monitor, which is mounted to an arm. I looked at a lot of monitor light bars as well as traditional desk lamps. I stumbled upon this Honeywell lamp which is perfect in many ways. Most notable, Honeywell clearly states the specifications for the lamp itself, something none of the others did. We all know that LED lights are supposed to last a very long time. The failure point is often the driver itself. With the Honeywell 2 year warranty I know that I am covered and this is extended with the protection offered by my credit card. My setup has the monitor reaching over the top of the display, with the arm of the light touching the top side of my display. It does not create a reflection on the display and because I can title the lamp head the light does not shine in my eyes.

First of all I really like this light, the form, function work very well. I have 2 - 34in ultra wide monitors on a singular desk mount. This is just barely tall enough to be used for my set up. I wish it was just a little bit taller and had one more joint towards the top so that it could reach deaper into my desk over the monitor. The height worked well when the monitors were on the factory supplied stands. The controls are nice but I would really like it to have a circadian rhythm setting similar to other high quality desk lights. Finally, the buttons are not quite as responsive as I would like as they are capacitance touch. Dont take what i listed above as a negative review. I really like this light but the above things would make it the perfect light for me, your milage may vary.

This review is going to be easy. I bought this lamp for my wife who is a quilter. She has a 73x36 inch cutting table that I put this lamp on. The lamp is wide and bright enough that it illuminates the whole table and concentrates enough light to light up the center of the table which is the main work area. It is very sturdy with metal post and clamp. It is highly adjustable for brightness and color. She had two Ott lamps but this one lamp is much more convenient and distributes the light effectively. She loves it. I would highly recommend this lamp.

I purchased this lamp several months ago now and didn't want to write a review until I'd given it some time to be broken in and for me to get used to it. This is seriously one of the best lamps I've ever had and as an artist who paints for a living, I have spent a lot of money on lamps made by other brands, such as Ottlite and Daylight. Hands down, this has been the best lamp for the price that I've ever had. I do wish that the neck was perhaps a little bit longer for greater reach, but the size of the light bar itself is great and I like the dimming and temperature control capabilities. I know which brand of lamp I will be looking at next time I need to get another light.

Piece of Junk died on me almost EXACTLY 6 months after I bought it, just like the other one star reviews. Absolutely not worth spending over $100. Especially given that if I'd gone with one of the nameless Chinese brands, I probably could have spent a quarter as much to get something of comparable quality but better looking. I bought it specifically because I wanted something that would last and figured that Honeywell probably still built quality goods. They do not. They buy the same imported garbage as everyone else and slap their name on it. May all their executives be forced to live with their own products.

Super quality! 2min assembly and works perfectly. No need to put the cord. The brightness is easy to adjust and it takes some time to shut down completely which I like a lot.

The light put out by this unit is excellent, and the range of colour very useful indeed for different times of the day. I would like to point out two issues which may or may not be a problem for you: 1. The vertical arm from the clamp to the elbow is not articulating. The upper arm overhangs the elbow by a couple of inches, so if your desk is against the wall, this will be a problem. You need to have the desk edge about 2.5" (7.5cm) away from the wall to avoid interference. 2. The picture with the two monitors gives the impression the lamp is well above the top of the monitors. Those monitors in the picture must be small - 14" - 16". If you use a big monitor, you will find the light is very close to the top of the monitor, and possibly interferes with a monitor supported camera. Moving the light higher, also moves it back relative to your seating position, which may not be ideal. I have given the light a 5-star rating, because if these issues are not a problem for you, I recommend the light very much.

Ero in pieno black friday e stavo esplorando possibilità di acquisto di una lampada dyson ma non ero convinto di quel prodotto e dell'investimento necessario a tale spesa. Specialmente perchè non ne conoscevo valide alternative fino a quando non ho trovato questo prodotto! Pienamente soddisfatto sia per qualità dei componenti, facilità di installazione e di utilizzo, qualità della luce e temperatura delle possibili varianti della stessa. Un vero aiuto al comfort quotidiano

This lamp is great! I've only had it a day but I can feel the difference in the tiredness of my eyes. Has a nice color variety to cool blue to warm white so should suit any view preference. Seems built well enough and looks appealing as well. There's just one minor issue. The clamp only has a small hole that a pin in the arm of the light lines up with. Most use cases that's fine, but that setup prevents the lamp from rotating. I clamp mine to the side of my desk, so the arm of the light doesn't sit fulling down in place due to the pin. This seems fine to be and the lamp can now actually rotate very easily. Would be better without the pin, or at least 4 holes in the clamp and the 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions as the hands of clock.

Do youserlf a favor and buy this lamp for your desk. Tank me later.
