This item i going to do the job. Only two minor complaints keeping this from a 5 star review:#1 - It provides moderate heat on it's highest setting. You'll get some warmth but nothing close to something like a heating pad. Might be a safety issue to how hot they can make it with the motors and gears also working simultaneously, but something to note if you were expecting significant heat while using.#2 - There is a tethered remote to adjust the settings. It works fine, but would be nice if it were a foot longer. You'd like to have it in your hand as you lay flat by your waist, but the remote will barely go half way don your torso, so when adjusting the settings you either want to lay it on your chest, or you find yourself trying to reach back to find it without looking as to not interrupt the massage.This is still very nice and these are very minor complaints.

I had the biggest pain in my neck and back for a while. I tried to massage it myself but it's a very hard to reach area and just required too much effort. After I received this it didn't come pre-charged so it took some time to charge up but afterward when it was done. It was incredible, it has a heating option which helps loosen the muscles and the message is powerful if you're not used to that feeling yet. Try adding a pillow or a towel between them for a cushion.
