Wonpro 5-Outlets Universal Pwr Strip
Have tis item for some time now and it works great !! The sockets accept all the plugs (US, Europe, British, etc ....except Austrialian, which I don't have the chance to try yet} types I have. The product is a wee bit bulky, I must admit, but I guess it's meant for home use...... maybe a 3-outlet, if any by Wonpro, would be fine for travel useage. What I like most about it is .....it is sturdy, made with quality and safety (ie the built-in shutters in the sockets) in mind !! Only pro comment I have is ..... if only there is individual ON/OFF switch for each of the socket instead of one common switch ..... though tis will make the strip even bulkier !! :(

Don't travel abroad without one or two of these
Traveling to Italy with a friend, I took two of these, because it reduces the needed number of outlets and plug adapters to one, and still leaves me with 9 outlets. Between us we had the potential to recharge one phone, two tablets, three cameras, and a toothbrush, and run a laptop. (I needed a second one of these to do this, because the average power strip or surge protector available in the US is not rated to take the higher voltage.) They worked great. Without these I don't think I would have ever had enough outlets for what I was charging.

Might be OK... Big!
It arrived, in perfect condition. It was larger than I realized, but looks to be just fine. My worry is that there is none of that reassuring US-style power information on it, with the minimum and maximum input range. The only thing I see is a note on the front: MAX 13A 220V.OK, but the UK is 230V, or some say 240V. I understand that the combination of 13 amps and 220 volts might be more than I'm likely to see, but with a written description such as this product has ("100V-250V AND 2400 WATTS SURGE PROTECTOR"), I would expect more "official" notification of those specs ON the product itself. The various reviews make it clear that the strip seems to work well in the "real world", but I just worry about what is effectively an "off-brand" item with markings that do not match the description.Add that to the size, and I will likely take a smaller, and more clearly labeled, item such as the Simran SM-60 on my next overseas trip, and keep this one for in-country use, where the extra weight and size won't be an issue.

Wonpro power strip
I bought this to travel with but it is too big and bulky to carry in my carry on or small luggage. It has a USA cord so I needed adapters to plug it into a foreign power outlet. There was no USB charger either. I need a product that is small, has a couple USB ports and is able to plug into the outlets anywhere. It also has to be under $50- 75. I heard there was something coming out later this year or next from a new US company. It will be a miracle for international travelers. I'll keep you all posted.

Handy; Difficult to Plug
I purchased this for travel because it handles 220v.On the pro side, it's got a very durable cord (almost too durable - it's a bit difficult to position). It does the trick just fine when I travel. On the con side, it's difficult to get plugs into it. I've read the comments and suggestions, and they help, but at the end of the day it's just plain tough to use. It's also pretty bulky, even considering the quantity of plugs. All in all, it's fine. Before purchasing again, I'd check alternatives for form factor and ease of use. However, if there weren't any viable alternatives I'd certainly purchase again.

Worked like a champ on my European vacation
I bought this for an overseas trip and used it successfully in Iceland and Denmark with an appropriate wall adapter and plugged in in the US. All my appliances had North American style plugs, both 2 prong and 3 prong. I took my travel adapters and was able to plug into the receptacles. Unlike complains I've seen with other universal strips, the plugs are very secure in these outlets - no wiggle room on North American plugs. In fact, there's a bunch of resistance when pushing in the plugs, but it's not too hard and ultimately contributes to them being secure.Another thing I like about this unit is that it's CE marked, meaning that it's design passed the EU electrical guidelines. For US folks, the idea is similar to have a UL mark on an electrical product. While I don't have a specific need for this power strip at home, I could definitely use it.One thing I didn't think of when I was buying this was the size of international plugs, many of which are much larger than North American plugs. So when I bought the 5 outlet power strip, I was thinking about how long a US 5 outlet strip might be. This one still fit in my suitcase - don't get me wrong. Just consider size of the strip verses the number of outlets you need.

Worked Great (after being shipped the wrong one)
I purchased this 5 outlet strip for a trip to Denmark where I knew I needed to charge 2 phones, 2 tablets and one computer. Worked great the whole time I was there. Had no issues with this. My Daughter how is studying abroad, quickly removed it from my possession when I was returning to the States. Only hiccup was that when I ordered this I was sent the 3 outlet one by mistake (it was labeled 5 outlet). Amazon replaced this and had it to me in 2 days. No issue there
