I have the tendency to use my beauty sponges while dry. I know that's not their intended use, but my preferred brand has one that is just as soft dry as it is wet. This one is a bit rubbery when dry and definitely has to be used wet. It's not the "hardest" beauty sponge I've ever encountered, not by a mile, but it's just not my preference.This one works just fine when used wet, but as someone who typically does my makeup sitting in bed with no desire to get up and wet a sponge, I am just the wrong person for this product.

Things like this do not have to be name brand. My wife loves this. It blends out so nicely and it is easy to clean.

I have several of these to blend in my tinted moisturizer. They work well.I was disappointed the sponge was not in a hard cover case. The description stated in came in a case (like for traveling) . It's a plastic thin holder...not a case.
