Work and look great
We installed on the wall behind the door using hollow wall anchors to ensure strength. Our doors were hollow with thin wood and the sticky tape did not hold in the bathroom. Actually prefer it on the wall. You don't see it when the door is open, wish I had thought of it sooner. Ordered more and now have one in each bathroom and bedroom, two in grandkids room at their height to use.
