I live in Los Angeles, where the restaurant prices have doubled since COVID, so I try to cook at home more often. My favorite Green Papaya Salad recipe calls for a lot of julienned ingredients, and my hand gets so tired. I need a powerful motor and a 5-mm blade for better texture. This product is perfect to match my requirements. It makes it so easy and quick to julienne a whole big green papaya, carrots, and cucumbers. It has another blade to crush peaputs, too. I love the red color, and the non-slip suction base is beneficial. The feeder has a very big diameter, which is a big plus. Please note: When you assemble the device, please install the feeder perpendicular to the floor. There should be a gap on the upper edge as seen in the picture.

Bought this to replace an inexpensive hand crank model that worked like a charm but cracked. Thought it was time for an upgrade. Only it wasn’t. Can’t shredded cheddar cheese. Starts fine & then it clogs up the blades and turns into mush. Tried freezing the cheese beforehand as I had seen recommended. Still didn’t work. Tried many times to give it a chance but waited too long & now can’t return. I’ll be looking for another hand crank & this will be heading to a resale shop.

This electric grater has plenty of power and does a good job shredding cheese and cutting fruits and vegetables quickly and evenly. The motor feels strong, the attachments fit securely, and it’s easy to use for everyday prep. The suction cups help keep the machine still while in use. It’s not too difficult to take it apart and it’s pretty easy to clean it after use. The downside is the clear plastic components, they’re noticeably brittle and will crack or break if dropped, which hurts the overall durability. If you handle it carefully, it performs well, but the fragility of those parts keeps it from being a perfect five‑star product. Overall I still think it’s a good value for your money.

this is the second attachment I purchased for my mixer, and it totally hit the spot. The first one I had didn't really shred the cheese but grinded it so fine it was awful. This product is superb. Great value for the money, great size, grates my cheese perfect and just makes me happy overall. It is very sturdy and super easy to clean.

I had a mixed experience with this item. The one I used had to be returned because the cage that holds the chopping blades got jammed and the whole thing broke from the drive shaft to the cage that was being driven. Now that sounds like a 1 or 2 star review but there are good things about this product. Ok, if you want something that you take out from under the counter to do chop carrots for a soup then this thing is perfect for that. Its well designed and easy to use and has a powerful motor for the money. That was where my problem occured. The problem I ran into was I bought it to use to grate hard cheese. The motor was plenty powerful to do this but there is no safety mechanism that will stop it from turning if something like hard cheese get stuck in it. So powerful motor meets hard cheese and the plastic drive shaft payed the price. The reason for the 3 stars is, this may never have happened if I was using it to chop carrots or potatoes but using it to grate cheese was more than the plastic parts could bare. So if the design was changed or if something was put into place so if something gets stuck it disengages the drive shaft before damage occurs it would be a high review. If you cook things like soup where you chop alot of vegetables it would be great. Like I said the motor is powerful the opening is ample and if I had it and was throwing carrots and garlic and potatoes into it I think it would have worked all day long for me. But if something gets stuck then you are shit outta Its too bad that this was the only reason I wanted or needed this item. If I had other needs for it it may have worked great.

Excellent. I love making potato chips type fries and also has browns. This grater makes it very easy to do the aformentioned.

This is a nice solid unit, pretty heavy, with suction cup feet. The blades swap out of the drum, it is NOT multiple drums. I assembled it and messed around (turned it on) but have not used it to prep cook yet. I put a little olive oil where the drum twists onto the base, kinda like a blender snaps onto its base, you click it into a channel and turn to lock it in. It was very tight, so I lubed it with olive oil, and now it assembles with no friction - I was afraid it would snap when it was dry and stubborn. I really only wanted it for cheese and onions, but I'm sure I'll find other ingredients. This will make killer potato pancakes in a jiffy.
