Starsan is food safe, so it is okay. I use it all the time to sanitize brewing fermenters and other containers that have food contact.

I have a cast iron fruit press i want to use for hard cider pressing. Will this be okay on cast iron or too caustic?

It will be fine, will not hurt cast iron.

Can this product be used as a hand sanitizer when diluted properly?

I would use this product as a hand sanitizer only if no other products were available. Water with a small amount of bleach would be more effective.

Is this safe to use in a porcelain sink?

Yes it's safe once you dilute it to the recommended strength as mentioned on the container.
