Great idea but need for refinement for OEM sling swivel replacement

Replaced a Magpul adjustable stock with a Colt fixed stock and didn't like how the sling bunched up when in use. Replaced the fixed sling mount with this mount, which was super easy, and now the quick disconnect can be positioned 90° left making for a smoother sling attitude. Nicely done GrovTec!

Not compatible with M&P 15-22 M4 buttstock, as it doesn't fit deeply enough.Compatible with Windham AR-15 M4 buttstock, and fits well.

Bought this to give me an inexpensive sling attachment alternative. I was using a single point sling and wanted to have an option , using the same sling, of quickly changing to two point. this product makes this very easy. Exchange your buttstock sling loop for this product .. Done. Well built and the the limited rotation keeps your sling from twisting . great fix if you need it.

It's as though the manufacturer performed ZERO Q/A on this product. I installed it on 3 different Milspec butt stocks and it was too short on all 3.

What the manufacture does not tell you is this item will fit very few AR15 rifles.When you receive the item on the front of the package (which is not shown in the description of the product), It states that it will not fit any Ruger made AR15 rifle. Most stock AR15 models will have the same size stock.

This push button base did fit my Ruger ar556, but it is too short to clear the bottom of the buttstock.I can use it , but it is at an angle. Too cheap to return.
