I got home from work last Tuesday. I had a long day, and all I could think about at lunch was the dinner I made the night before - chicken tikka with some Jarred tikka sauce from Aldi - some of you might be thinking “WTAF there’re much nicer sauces out there“ - well not in Aldi. Anyway, picture this on a Monday night - ive indulged on takeaways all weekend I’m just so desperate for some home cooked goodness. I’ve diced and sizzled some chicken and I add the sauce. I’m waiting for it to simmer - anyone that’s simmered without a pot lid you know where I’m going with this - I was left with a Thick, gloopy sauce that had half evaporated Itself away, like it had given up. My tikka was boiling, but my chicken was flavourless. The sauce had kept itself separate from my cooked poultry as if it were Brad Pitt attending his divorce hearing with Angelina Jolie. I knew I’d messed up. So I searched for the cheapest pot lid I could find - I forget the diameter I searched for but I found this lid. Would it fit? I didn’t know but live for the thrill and so I had to purchase it, an absolute gamble if I’d ever placed one. Fortunately, I had prime so I only had to wait a day. I was ready. 7pm that Tuesday night a knock at the door. I’d waited all day that Tuesday for the delivery - a confirmation email or SMS, I wasn’t aware prime could deliver in the evening, but this was great as it meant I didn’t have to go to the post office to pick it up - win win. I rush to the door to greet the delivery man handing me a flat packed parcel - this was it. So there I go, chicken diced, half a jar of tikka sauce from the night before. Gas is up, chicken sorted, tikka sauce in - The lid. Goes. On. I leave for 10 minutes, just enough - the sauce was all there, Bubbling and infusing itself with the diced breast. But was that enough? I had to taste it. Ladies and Gentleman, this lid had improved my cooking tenfold. And what’s better is it fits across my other pots too. A perfect end to a long day and bitter night before. I felt like my weekend had started all over again. You’re probably asking yourself, why write so much detail for a pot lid? A wise man once told me, it’s not the product that sells, it’s the experience the customer receives, it’s the story behind why it’s a success. I bought this product. This is my experience. Purchased this lid for my new Instant Pot Duo 3 qrt / 3 ltr and am really pleased with it as an alternate for the branded Instant Pot which was more expensive. I've also been able to use it on other pans which means that its saving space and is great value for the money. Quality is really good and has washed well in the dishwasher which has made Hubby happy :)

Does what it's supposed to. Only minor quibble is the ridges on the silicon lid make it a bit difficult for the water to drain leading to limescale marks

Fits great on my 28cm wok. (I did try a 28cm glass lid with the metal rim first, but it was slightly too big to fit my wok so had to be returned.) This one with the multi-size silicon rim fits perfectly. Don't know why I didn't go for it in the first place.

Great lid. Fits my wok and large frying pan. Also a reasonable price.

Fits nicely on 2 different sized pans. It's good quality with heavy duty silicone outer rings. Am very pleased with this purchase

I use this on all my saucepans enabling me to store the bulky lids in the attic. It works on a variety of sized pans and so far I am very pleased with it.

We changed all pots and pans into detachable handled ones to save space. Now we have to do something with lids. We wanted to reduce the number of lids and chose this one. Although this isn't for detachable handled one, it has the wide ridge so it does job.

Me encanta esta tapa es super práctica, vale para varios tamaños de sartenes y ollas y tiene el agujerito para sacar el vapor. Así que muy bien de buena calidad a buen precio. Se lava bien en el lavavajillas para los que no nos gusta fregar. No se puede pedir más. Desde que la tengo solo uso esa y no las orignales que vienen con las ollas, es que me esncanta el borde de silicona que se adapta tan bien.

Molto comodo questo coperchio che si adatta a diverse misure. In questo modo possiamo evitare di avere tanti coperchi che vanno a ingombrare. Inoltre, avendo il bordo in silicone, non si rischia di graffiare le padelle.

Je l'utilise depuis plus d'un an, il n'a pas bougé (il passé de temps en temps au lave-vaisselle). Il s'adapte parfaitement à plusieurs casseroles et me permet de faire des économies d'énergie : grâce à son l'étanchéité, je peux garder l'ébullition en mettant ma plaque induction au minimum et inutile de mettre la hotte, peu de vapeur s'échappe par le petit trou. En + sa transparence permet de surveiller la cuisson sans soulever le couvercle.
