Powerful and efficient multi-device charger. This Rocoren 480W GaN charger is a fantastic daily driver. It’s incredibly practical for travel since it can charge both my Google phone and Google watch at once without any issues. It performs exactly as advertised, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

The Rocoren 480W GaN USB‑C Charger is a true powerhouse for charging multiple devices at once. With up to 100W per port, it easily handles laptops, phones, and tablets simultaneously without slowing down. Its GaN technology keeps the unit compact, efficient, and cool even under heavy use. I love the versatility—it works seamlessly with my MacBook, iPhone, and Galaxy devices. Reliable, eco‑conscious, and space‑saving, this charger has become the centerpiece of my desk setup.

Decent charger, many ports
I'm always suspicious of USB power hubs that make 'outlandish' claims. We see big numbers all over products at unlikely prices - 2TB microSD cards for £8 (it's not), 9-million lumen lights for £30 (no it doesn't), 380dB motorbike horns (almost double the point where a sound wave becomes a shock wave). I'm a tech nerd, so I'm wildly aware of the lengths that sellers will go to sell items that nowhere near match their claims. You can imagine my skepticism when I saw this product claiming 480W of total output and 10 total ports. First of all, let me say that I'm surprised to even find a hub with this many USB-C ports, let alone the claimed power output, so when you price it at the ~£46 I bought it for (thanks to discounts). My problem has always been the sheer number of devices that want to draw from USB power, with most of them being centered around smart-home. For example, just within arms reach, I've got a smart-infrared controller, a mm-wave smart presense sensor, a smart speaker, a wireless game controller, a pair of wireless headphones, a pair of wireless earbuds in a charging case, a wireless mic in a charging case, an iPad, and a laptop. There's numerous other devices beyond arms reach that also want charging or a constant power source. It's chaos. Until recently, I sort of balanced around this by connecting some devices to a USB hub connected to my PC (risky due to their power output limits), and others connected to a 4-port mains USB hub, but if I happen to need to charge a lot of things, it was a juggling act. No more. I bought one of these out of curiosity, and because the reviews seemed positive. I've been burned by a 'cheap' USB charger hub in the past (where it stopped charging anything after only a few weeks), so when I find ones I like, I stick with them for as long as I can. This charger hub seems to do just the job for me. It's got plenty of ports, meaning I don't need to juggle devices to charge or risk trying to draw too much power out of my PC's poor USB ports. A few years ago, I would have said such a device was impossible. Alas, it's only very recently that USB-C PD (power-deliver) revision 3.1 devices have started to hit the market. This allows up to 240W power over USB-C, which in turn means that controllers capable of splitting this power up amongst multiple ports is possible. On the surface, it still seems too good to be true, and I am still wary of it - it's a lot of power, and I'm very cautious to not become a house-fire statistic. I haven't done or seen a teardown of this charger, but judging by the silk-screen print on the front, it seems like they're perhaps using multiple power controllers - 4 of the USB-C ports are grouped together, while the other 6 ports are also grouped together. It seems feasible to me that those first-4 are using a 240W controller, and then the other 6 are using another independent 240W controller. However, again, I haven't done or seen a teardown of this device, so I'm just making an educated guess. The build quality seems solid, but I know that it's very easy to make a product that looks good but falls apart. I'll update this review if the device fails within the near future. Allow me to close by saying this: Although I'm skeptical and wary of this charger, I decided to buy a second one because having so many ports does solve a lot of problems.

Double check all the configs to see if it performs as it should
The two 100W ports definitely does NOT pump out 100W. I'm using 100W cables and the max it displays is 45 with this. What's interesting is that even the laptop complains that the charger is too slow and to plug in the original charger. As a cheap usb hub that offers potentially multi-45w ports, then this is useful... but for what you want to charge 2 laptops and a bunch of tablets/phones, it definitely doesn't pump out enough power to charge the laptops. Super frustrating. At least it's flat and won't fall off the table like a few other alternatives that have claimed 600W but was also not. Update: After being contacted by the product manufacturer, they advised that the device may have been faulty and refunded me the item. Very prompt and good customer service. That in itself is 5* but can only give this product a 3*. Overall average is 4.

Seems to handle multiple charging well.
Bought to replace a branded fast charger that decided to try to burn the house down so I was looking for quality and safety. Used for a few weeks now to charge our phones, vapes game deck and laptop. Obviously not all at the same time but it's yet to break a sweat. Happy so far.

Great charging station
Can't fault it, does what it says on the tin - claimed outputs appear to be correct (display on power bank being charged shows the power output of the Rocoren)

Works, dual output
Works as advertised. I've ordered 5x from different brands , none working. This one does 2x 100 wat concomitant

Works well
Works well for me to keep 4 laptops fully charged under load throughout the day, and also my headphones, headsets, mouse etc. no power delivery issues so far, and seems reliable. Nice weighty feel too.

Very useful as a (Non-charger) power supply!
I bought this not as a charger for devices with batteries, but as a USB-C PD power supply for a bunch of game consoles outfitted with USB power cables, and it has been perfect for that. So long as you arrange the plug order so that the lower-powered PD devices are on the lowest-power port they can safely use, you should be able to plug in lots of different devices at once. I previously tried a few UGREEN chargers to do this same thing, but some of its ports just didn't have enough wattage to suffice. This one has enough juice to handle everything in my setup. I really wish there were better options for a REAL switching power supply (Not for charging) for USB-C PD, but until then, this has the juice to do the job nicely. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Has tons of USB-C PD ports with high wattage for use as a power supply for modified retro game consoles.

480W reales
