Nice machine Good value for the performamnce and build quality
I originally ordered the earlier version but wasn't delivered (no by amazon) Then I saw this one with a good looking spec. It loads at a pace and the colour is good can't say I've found the propblem mentioned in some of the reviews. It is well priced for what it is and build quality is good. It charges through the USB as most go and seems to take a long time. Sound quality is reasonable (my son says its better than his ipad and the screen is nearly comparable. The stand works perfectly. Haven't put the sd card in yet or the 3G. I will try in next couple of weeks (probably take it to the shop and get them to fit the 3G so I'm not paying for something I can't get working but seems to connect through the settings. The screen seems pretty responsive and accurate to touch. The on screen keyboared is good but haven't found a way to turn the annoying clicking when a character is pressed off yet (suppose I could just turn the volume off). I have just bought the cheaper keyboard and await to see if it works well. It doubles as a cover and at 31.50 is comparable to offer bluetooth keyboards. My initial thoughts are it is a nice machine but then I haven't yet had to contact the infamous customer service at Lenovo. The camera on nthe back not well placed on the cyclinder bit pictures are good. The head phone socket is at one end of the cyclinder and the om/off switch at the other. Bought it for work and seems eminently suitable for that with its built in stand.April 4th 2015. Still working great I've just put in a micro-sd card (sandisk) without problems. I have also bought one of the 3 micro-sim cards to test it. (PAYG). It was simple to install using the settings and selecting the three option on available options. Still impressed with it. I id contact Lenovo with a question on accessory but completely useless. Its a shame that a company that makes such nice machines can have such a crap customer service. It gets taken around a lot and seems to be standing the bangs and knocks. has been dropped a couple of times without damage. It does take a long time to charge but then it works for more than a full working day.

Superb, But Beware of the Brightness Issue..
not had the tablet long and it must say at first glance (and light use) it is an incredibly cool tablet that i purchased for it's price, features and most importantly, (what set's it out from the others in this bracket), the "multimode" capability. However, there appears to be a problem that could cause Lenovo some major embarrassment or at the very least they need to clarify a display brightness issue that another reviewer has already noted.after further investigation and a good old play (before panic) of how or why this appears to be happening here is my view:I'm not sure if Lenovo have tried to be too smart with the screen display on the "hold mode" config. all other modes appear to have a beautifully clear and bright screen but when you switch to "hold mode" in the "sound and visual" icon from the notification panel then the screen dims or at least develops a hazy tint which is not very nice on the eye. a user could easily conclude that the screen has a major brightness issue which may precipitate into Lenovo having a whole load of returns/recalls to make if indeed there is a flaw, else not many will enjoy the experience holding it upright in your hand and switching the "sound and visual" effects to "Hold Mode" - the "Tilt" and "Stand" modes appear to have the normal brightness as it should be.I think Lenovo need to clarify.. i would watch this space before diving in. One could simply keep it in Stand or Tilt mode but i have no idea if that effects the sound and visuals if you are holding it.. my guess is it probably won't.Another notable gripe, as many previous owners have noted, is the inability to change the fixed icons along the bottom of the screen.. you try to and it tells you off by saying you can't delete it as it's a "system application" - shocking that Lenovo guys didn't take the feedback on this before the upgrade release.. tut tut. Finally, the memory is stated as 16GB.. it is in actual fact closer to 11GB as the system seems to take almost 30% of the memory: just something to be aware of.

2nd HD+ makes all the difference!
This review starts with Amazon replacing the first unit which was obviously faulty with a brand new unit. Lenovo failed to repair or return the original which was very unstable. Good service from Amazon! Lenovo is sadly not in the same league.Straight out of the box this Yoga 10 HD+ with 3G impressed as probably it should. Allowing it to self configure then straight on to the upgrade to Android KitKat 4.4.2. Applications launch quickly and so far rock solid with none of the crashes and boot loops experienced with the faulty previous HD+. The supplied Lenovo home launcher is nothing to get excited about so adding my ususal favorite Apex Launcher the home layout and application draw make good use of the screen real estate. In use the speed is snappy and scrolling mostly fluid and manages streaming from Netflix with ease over WiFi. The screen iself is bright with good contrast and not overly saturated colours, but as noted by others the auto-brightness is often best switched off. Battery life is something to no longer worry about it just carries on playing although when it comes to a re-charge it could be quicker. The unique flip out stand really comes into its own when using an external mini BT keyboard making it a laptop replacement when travelling. As a developer I need a complete suite of applications always to hand. Overall the form factor is a plus with landscape modes, propped up on a table and standing like a mini-monitor being the best options.
