Got this delivered in 24 hours bought this for ( my son) I can’t believe how heavy the books are or how big they are packed full of information & pictures some even coloured pictures to defiantly a must for any titanic fans it’s the titanic bible not cheap but definitely worth it

This is the holy grail of information on the Titanic if your interested in the facts, the concept, constrsuction, design and everything relevant to the physicallity that was the ship. Should you be interested in the story of the ship be it the sinking or the lives of those on board this book will help you to understand things which you may not but ultimately this is not a light hearted purchase for someone who is passionately interested in the subject.The two books as a whole are astonishing both in the wealth of information it contains and the spread of topics it covers.

This was part of my son's 50th birthday present. He is over the moon with it, having a life-long fascination with all things Titanic. He treasures it to the extent he has yet ( 5 months later ) to break the cellophane sealing the book for fear it will begin to devalue ! ! ! He'll take the plunge before long and we'll have a little celebration ( like Prince Philip cutting the ribbon to open a new project ! ) If you have in-depth interest in all the technical details down to the material and manufacturer of the last screw and all matters Titanic this fabulous book is for you. ( P.S. it's very heavy )

This publication is an absolute must for anyone with an interest in the RMS Titanic. The quality is outstanding throughout. I have a close family association with the ship and every word, every detail will be studied. The authors have made an outstanding contribution in keeping this magnificent ship in our memory.

I've been a fan of Titanic ever since I first watched James Cameron's 'Titanic' when I was one (in 1997). When I spotted this book and looked at reviews for previous editions, I just knew I had to have it. At first I was surprised at how big and heavy these books are, but this is forgiven because the amount of information in these 'Titanic bibles' is simply staggering. It even has details on the holders for the bog roll! I never even thought such information existed. Until now that is. They may be expensive at £120, but the sheer volume of knowledge on this incredible vessel definitely justifies the price for me. I'd never be able to find even a fraction of the info and photographs in this collection online. They only came today (21st January 2017) so I've only had a quick glance (45 minutes or so). I'm already impressed with what i've read and seen. Can't wait to really have a look at them.

A brilliant and well illustrated book on the construction of the Olympic Sisters, it gives a complete insight on how the ships were constructed.Ideal for anybody who is interested on how the great liners of the early part of the 20th century were built.
