I got this to make it easier to clean out cupholders, etc in my truck. This gel works very well, as long as you store it in a cool place in between uses. I left the first jar in the truck during hot weather, and when I went to use it, it was very soupy and stuck to everything. The directions clearly state to keep it in a cool place, so this was on me. It got 4 stars because there are times when it will leave a smudge of gel on the dash, or in a vent that needs to be cleaned up with a cleaning wipe. Because of this, I would be careful around any fabric (seats, etc) as it could potentially leave a stain.

I used this gel to clean the fuzz buildup out of the compartments in a velvet jewelry box and it worked great. There isn't much of a 'sour apple' small at all, if any, which was a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Not much smell at all, actually, and no residue left behind. I can't wait to try it out cleaning my car, too! Highly recommended.
