Picture doesn't do this justice.. it's bigger than it looks, at a fair price too. While many would think it expensive.. nearly a fiver for one nail file, it's a fine example of "you get what you pay for". Emery boards are a waste of time.. my nails are too strong & need a metal nail file, to keep them nicely manicured. Spent a fortune over the years.. trying different brands in the hope they don't smooth off after minimal usage, failed to find any that stood the test of time. If you have brittle or soft nails that bend easily.. this file wouldn't be suitable, I'd call it heavy duty. Definitely not suitable to carry round in your handbag.. for use in "nail emergencies" more for, a full "at home" manicure. Enough give for it to curve around the nail without feeling it's going to snap.. I prefer the metal handle as opposed to usual plastic, far more robust. Edges aren't sharp so no cutting into the quick of nails, like other ones have in the past. Will report back after a few uses.. see how long it lasts, only time will tell.

Seems good and sharp, time alone will tell. Would benefit from a point on the end.

Sturdy.long reaching allows old people to reach toes. Tough file that you just use hoover brush on to remove nail powder and its like new again. Nothing can handle my hard big toe nails.Tried dremell and multilple devices. This low priced file outperforms them all. Cured my too long toe nails in 3 mins on each big toe. No more holes in bedsheets or socks from overgrown toenails. I will never us anything other than this file again.ordered another to make sure l have one wherever l am. Brilliant piece of kit. Use sensibly because this file removes nail quickly ,without any clippers, so stop before you reach the skin. Unbeatable performance fom such a cheap file. Fully recommended by me after 70 years of struggling. !

My podiatrist told me I should get this to remove the build up of hard skin on my big toes. It is effective. She claims that she uses it to file her toe nails rather than clippers, but I have not done this myself.
