PGF Mustang Forged Blade & Mallet Plumber’s Neck Putter Crafted with Precision

... First off, when I was in search for a new replacement putter, this one caught my eye, the Mustang M797 Forged. I'm definitely enjoying the shape and black color. I tried an Odessey 11. The face is soft and feels good but too light. I'm used to heavier putters like Boccieri Heavy Putters. They're like sledge hammer heavy. This PGF putters are somewhat heavy but not Boccieri Heavy. I do plan on ordering some heavier weights for this putter. It comes with a nice soft and tacky grip but I might change in the future. Yes, the face does feel soft but it's easy to predict the speed and distance of the ball's roll. While balancing the shaft on my finger, it appears to be slightly toe heavy, which is fine with me. The white alignment line on the black is perfect and really helps with lining up the ball for the putting stroke. I'm definitely enjoying this new putter! I do wish that it came with a headcover but for the price, it's a great deal!

I was honestly surprised by the quality of this milled putter. It has great weight to it—nice and balanced without feeling too heavy. The grip is the perfect size in both width and length, making it really comfortable to use. What impressed me the most is how it feels strikingly similar to my buddy’s Scotty, but at a fraction of the price. It truly has that high-end feel, both in design and performance. If you’re looking for a premium-feeling putter without the premium price tag, this is a great choice!

Nice balance like the grip

This putter is so nice. I spent hours researching and looking at reviews and decided to just order it. I'm SO glad I did! This putter is heavy and looks so sharp with the brushed black/grey hear and grip. Solid contact on the ball too it's absolutely perfect for an average size male.

3 STARS for a few reasons: Amazon provided TERRIBLE CS during this purchase. Shipping was very late as well. The putter looks nice for the price. It looks the part but comes up short in a few areas. There are 2 weights in the sole but both are the same weight, there is no wrench if you wanted to adjust the balance, nor an available weight kit to do so? No headcover, face does have nice milling. This putter is VERY heavy, the grip is big, the steel shaft and especially the head are all heavy. I used it once and could not make finesse putts, soft 3 footers, it just drove everything way further than I was swinging for or looking for! BTW I am a 10 HDCP and have played my entire life so take that into consideration. If you regularly play a course(s) that have slow to very slow greens this putter may be for you? If you are not ok with a very heavy putter with a very large grip you may want to reconsider. You will have to decide for yourself.

Putter is well balanced I really like the weight. Looks great. The grip feels low quality but overall it's a really decent putter at a really affordable price
