Installed Easily, Works Well
I feared installing this item on my eu2200, but it turned out to be pretty easy. The job took me about an hour including getting my tools out and putting them away, with frequent stops to study the several excellent You Tube instructional videos on the subject. (As of this writing all of these videos cover the eu2000 only, but because the eu2200 installation is a very similar but simpler operation they're still useful for the newer model. It's obvious which steps to omit.) At first my generator-- which runs perfectly on gasoline-- was a bit rough on propane. When I contacted the good people at Hutch Mountain about this, they answered the phone almost instantly and spent nearly an hour patiently talking me through the problem. It turned out that I'd received a defective propane regulator. They promptly shipped me a new one, and this did indeed about 98% solve the problem. I don't have a lot of hours on this setup yet, and probably won't for years to come since I don't run my generator very often. But the installation was easy and the support excellent. All the components seem to be rugged and of top-quality, and the finished product looks like the factory engineered it that way to begin with. I've found that I much prefer propane to gasoline operation, especially for short monthly check-up runs. With propane, I don't have to worry about even tiny residual amounts of gasoline drying out and gumming up the carburetor. Plus, propane is much easier to store and handle. Yes, it costs a bit more and reduces the power output a little. But for me the positives far outweigh the negatives. As a side note, I used a spade bit instead of the recommended step bit to drill the required hole in my housing. It worked perfectly well.As another side note, I learned in passing while completing this project that a professional shop requires a special certification to perform this conversion, and very few shops have one. So if you buy this, you'll probably have no choice but to do the installation work yourself. The job is so simple that it's silly for a certification to be required, but that's just the way things are.

Installed this on an EU3000IS Honda Generator. The installation was easy and well laid out. Jetted correctly for this model of generator. Communication with the manufacturer was outstanding. Everything was Set up and ready, with excellent instructions. Engine runs well. A Quality kit.

Great kit!
Great kit, relatively easy to install. Adding the propane option makes the Honda 2200i the best inverter generator out there.

Dont waste your time
I ordered this unit after sending back a cheaper kit from ebay . I SPENT a day running down hoses and low pressure regulator and fittings that should have been included ! This kit was susposed to fit my eu2000 . There is no mention of needing these items until you have it ready to hook up . Also the "Motor Snorkel " was junk compaired to the Hutch set up . It did not fit the carb studs and after cutting it to fit it has a tube that inserts into the carb that makes the choke for the gasoline part not to work . It also has a brass tube inbeded that will crush if you snug the air box up enough not to fall of . In the instruction book it actually says not to waste their time by calling .I just recieved my Hutch kit and it is actually top shelf ! EVERY part and then some are included . It looks and has the quality of OEM . The " snorkel" is hard plastic and will alow proper torque. The price seems a little high but after buying all the missing parts for the UScarb set up and aggravation the price point is on target .And by the way the instruction book is actually readable . I guess this is another one of those " you get what you pay for moments" Dont waste time trying to make some universal kit work .

Great option for propane/natural gas
While this kit is expensive, the quality of the provided parts is very good. Instructions are clear, and the basic kit also comes with jets for >5000ft elevation, and Natural Gas option. The jets actually install on the hose, so no need to disassemble the carb. You will need some additional hose as well for the Natural gas option. I put this on a Honda EU2200i, and it works great. I am at 4600' elevation, but the standard jet seems to work fine.

Works as described.
Watch the original video on Youtube before you assemble. It's easy but some things are not obvious.

Great Purchase
I have had this for awhile, working for a propane supplier I don't know why I waited so long. Have this set up at remote cabin. Oil changes and spark plug changes last so much long than burning gasoline. Gas where I live is $2.32 a litre while barbeque cylinder refill is only $27.00
