Good quality trainer rounds.
These trainer cartridges are really nice, and appear well-built.They have a polymer tip to simulate the projectile portion of the cartridge so there's no chance of damage to your feed ramp or chamber during function testing. The body of the casing is made of what appears to be good quality metal (I don't know what type of metal, but it seems of good quality) with a softer insert in the primer portion of the cartridge which will protect your striker/firing pin.The weight of the trainer cartridges seems on par with typical loaded live cartridges, so they serve as a good analog for loading. The fact that they are colored a vibrant color helps identify them as a training aid and minimizes any confusion for live cartridges. In my experience, the trainer cartridges loaded well and cycled through the action with no difficulties. I would definitely recommend these for someone looking to do off-range teaching or training for familiarization, loading, situational re-loading, or malfunction clearing. When a crisis hits we fall back on our training and knowing how to act in a crisis situation without too much in-the-moment thought could save your life.

Great for decor or cosplay!
Using these for my Hello Kitty COD GHOST cosplay, and currently painting them pink to match my theme. They fit into the shotgun shell holders that I have really well, it weights pretty heavy when all of them are in the same box

These work, but my gun doesn't like them
I had hoped to use these as dummy loads at the range (loaded randomly among live rounds) in order to test my ability to clear malfunctions on the fly. For that they didn't seem to work, because the extractor on my RM380 wouldn't grab them and throw them out, resulting in a double feed. The groove right before the rim wasn't quite deep enough. I measured live rounds from PPI, Winchester, PMC, and UMC, and the minimum diameter in the groove is always 0.328 inches, give or take 0.001. These measure 0.334 inches. That doesn't sound like much, but it was enough to cause a problem with my sensitive diva of a gun.The seller contacted me and offered a refund, and wanted the chance to make it right. I'm impressed with the seller's integrity, and I appreciate that. I wish everyone had that level of integrity. But I decided to give it another try instead, because these aren't expensive and it's hardly worth returning them. After thoroughly cleaning the extractor, I got some of these to extract, but it was still about 50/50. So I was just going to throw them away, but I decided to give it one last try before pitching them. I found that if I was ultra-violent in racking the slide, these extract almost every time. I'm talking "bruised thumb and forefinger" level of violence with the slide, so not something I'm eager to do again, and not necessary with real ammunition, which extracts easily. So I believe that it's probably just my RM380 that's overly sensitive to the dimensions of the cartridges. The difference I measured was only 0.006", which is really small, and it seems unlikely that this would be a problem with every gun (maybe not even every RM380). So you may very well get good results with these things. And you'd be dealing with a seller who has integrity, and that's worth a lot. Based on my experience, I think they'd take care of any problems that came up. If I needed any of these for any other guns, I would buy these again.

Initial Issues Improved, But Concerns Remain
I originally purchased these dummy rounds to practice with my Remington 870 20-gauge shotgun. Unfortunately, the product was incompatible with my gun’s mechanism, with many rounds either failing to eject properly or getting stuck in the receiver. In contrast, my aluminum dummy rounds performed smoothly. Another issue was the use of a steel case head, which I worried might cause faster wear on the extractor compared to softer metals like aluminum or brass.Review Update: After publishing my review, the manufacturer reached out and offered to send an updated version of the 20-gauge dummy rounds. I agreed, and after a few days, I received a new batch that felt noticeably heavier than the originals. This updated version ejects more reliably from my Remington 870, and the added weight doesn't seem to hinder the ejection process.Interestingly, my initial concern over the steel base has shifted. Through further experience, I realized that aluminum dummy rounds tend to get easily nicked and bruised by the extractor and ejector (at least in the 870). In comparison, the steel base has proven more durable. Despite these improvements, since there’s no clear indication if customers will receive the updated design or the original faulty version, I’m hesitant to rate this product higher than three stars.
