Mini Spy Camera WIFI Hidden | Magnetic Hidden Camera, FREE Cloud Storage, Motion Detection & Night Vision Indoor Use

This is a great little camera. About as small as you’re going to get if you want functionality and quality. 3-4 hours battery life, takes 2 hours to charge. The large outer part of the lens is an infrared detector and even in the pitch black it worked well enough to see which I wasn’t expecting at this price. The app is great, you can view live on your phone if connected to WiFi. It sends automated notifications if it detects motion which can be configured as all motion, human detection only or you can turn it off. Adding the camera to the app was easy, I didn’t use the QR code I added my WiFi details and it picked it up straight away. If you want it to record you’ll need to buy an SD card or sign up to the cloud storage but it came with 1 year free cloud in the box. Impressive camera.

This product is a complete con, do not touch it. Im surprised that Amazon still allow it to be sold on the platform. Disgraceful. Doesn't come with a sim card, so cant work........

I had some issues initially to get the 1 year free cloud storage but I got it sorted. I also had a problem downloading the video recordings from the cloud to my device, but this was also sorted chatting to customer service. It turns out the camera is actually really good value for money. Good images, even in the dark, and it also records audio. I've been using it connected to the wi-fi and it works well.

Ok. So this device is great if you know what you want it for and what it will do. If you want to run it for more than an hour on battery - this isn't for you. It needs to be plugged in to a power supply. I'm going to try a small USB power bank. The motion detector sends a push message to your phone. It doesn't start/stop recording. Which seems a bit odd - why would you want to record when there's no movement? Overall the image quality is good, and the device is pretty discreet. The app seems pretty good too and was easy to setup.

CONS: Battery capacity poor such that it is necessary to leave the charger and lead attached. This and the fact that it is not disguised in any way makes me quibble the description of spy camera. PROS: Great spec and performance. When accessing it via wi-fi it does better than any other camera I own. Although the listing mentions Bluetooth it, in fact, acts as a network hotspot to which you can log onto in the fashion of a router. I have not fully explored that but it should mean that the usual Internet router is not required in this mode. It does motion detection, recording to TF card on motion detection and email notification of an event. So far I believe it has more facilities than many other cameras I have tried. I didn't expect such performance from a fridge magnet. I did have a bit of trouble setting it up but those buttons were never meant for human fingers and I had to use an implement to achieve success.

I'm overall very happy with this camera as it's got all of the features I need. I've only got one gripe and that is that I can't charge the device when it is powered off but apart from that small issue this is a little gem which I highly recommend.

This piece of toy was incredibly worthless. It wouldn’t take up full charge, and kept losing battery after charging for hours. Once on, it wasn’t storing anything onto a memory card. I kept getting notifications to sign up and pay for storage when I didn’t want it. The camera would turn off and I’ve had to set it all up from scratch twice. The set up was a little complicated too and took a while to make sure it gets going. I don’t know what I was thinking spending this much money on a camera that was so much hassle. It didn’t stick to the wall properly and it’s not that small and can easily be identified with a blue light so bright. The picture quality wasn’t that great either. It kept heating up for some strange reason, it’s been returned so hopefully I get my refund soon. Thanks

Purchasing process fine and product features are good. Decent image quality. Plenty of personalisation options. However, the battery dies within minutes so unless you have it constantly connected to a power source it is useless, and that limits the ability to use for it's intended purpose. Update. Having written this initiative review the company did reach out to me to offer a refund. However, despite sending them the product code they had asked for twice, I never heard anything else from them and didn't actually get a refund at all.
