Tpt New Testament with Psalms Proverbs and Song of Songs (Large Print) Burgundy (Passion Translation)

This is a beautiful translation of the Bible. The words and phrases used make it easy to read and really bring out the story in the text. It is a pleasure to read. I have been reading it along side my NASB or my KJV Bibles and love the way language is used - I can't put it down.Some reviews suggest that the translation might not be solid because it is essentially the work of one person. Having read it and compared it to other translations I find it to be a really good version of the Bible. It makes the text readable and understandable and expresses the stories and material of the books of the Bible in a way that is passionate - almost like reading a good novel, you don't want to stop reading - I can't always say that about the KJV! As for how it was written, some of the best Bibles are written by one person - Ronald Knox (one of the best bibles I own - love the way he uses language, very readable), NT Wright, Robert Alter..... the list goes on. The passion Translation is amazing. Please read it.I bought the Burgundy large print edition. The book is well printed, nice paper (a little thicker than usual Bible paper), nice size text - I wouldn't have said large print, just very readable and a little bigger than most Bible print sizes. The cover is a form of imitation leather. I really like these covers, soft, flexible, hard wearing - I actually prefer it to the leather covers I have on my premium Bibles. The pages are well set out with space around the text for notes etc.A definite five stars. Looking forwrd to the Old Testament now.

My Pastor in Hillsong North London church uses this bible which piqued my interest in this new translation. It has now become my favourite and my go to over the NLT. It really inspires me and helps me to really see God’s heart towards me. I have started to use it share my faith with non-Christians also.I really recommend it to mature and new Christians alike.Can’t wait for the complete bible to become available for purchase in the large print.

Beautiful edition if you want a slightly larger version than the standard. Excellent quality print, binding, and cover. Its a real winner of an absolutely wonderful translation.

I own the original smaller print version, and my husband was interested in the translation, so ordered this larger print for him. The paper is very nice quality and he does not have to strain his eyes. The price was so much less too! Colors are sometimes priced differently. I wish I had this large print for myself, but I have almost $20 more invested in mine. TPT will give you fresh revelation, you can truly feel the Holy Spirit speaking. Such an anointing on it! No, it's not my only Bible, but I use many translations as a student of the Word!

Beautiful bible and awesome text size. Only concern was that it showed up with a deep crease on the front cover from shipping.

Excellent quality feel in hands with the cover. Very classy. Nice paper and print. You can sense God's Presence and the Word coming alive in your heart as you read... you just want to read more.. The Book of Acts has never been so meaningful and full of understanding of the message, the context and the people. Just have to keep passing it on, so I buy and give them. You won't be disappointed!! Enjoy!
