I’m trying to kick a cannabis habit and, after tapering didn’t work as well as I hoped (because if there is weed in my house I will smoke it), decided to go cold turkey. I was surprised to find that my biggest hurtle was not physical withdrawal symptoms (which come and go in waves) but how mentally preoccupied, bored, and restless I was once smoking wasn’t an option. The evenings are hardest, because the only thing I want to do is go outside, sit down, put my music on, and smoke a joint. I had low expectations for this, because it is a tube with essential oils in it. It is basically flavored air. So, I was genuinely surprised by how well this worked to satisfy my cravings. It looks exactly like a vape. I love the design, because it feels like I could whip this out at a party and blend right in, like getting a seltzer with a slice of lime at a bar so no one bothers you about not drinking. I’ve been a stoner for a long time, and I don’t want my quitting to be remarked upon. I also just like having an excuse to go outside for “smoke” breaks. This not-a-vape is stylish, discreet, and knowing I can take this with me when I go out with friends really eases my anxiety about having to talk to people about not smoking. When my cravings are at their worst, actually having sensory feedback is a BIG help. I got the menthol flavor, and I was surprised by how RELAXED I felt after a couple hits. The weirdest part is that there is no vapor when you exhale. You taste it, you feel it in your lungs, but it is just flavored air. Now, I’m guessing prolonged use of these things isn’t great for you. Directly inhaling essential oils all the time will probably irritate your lungs. But you know what’s worse for your lungs? Inhaling super-heated mystery chemicals that get you high. For me, at least, the ACT of smoking gave me permission to rest. This tube of flavored air works amazingly as a placebo, giving me enough of the familiar motions and senses that I relax. If you’re struggling to kick a smoking/vaping habit, I’d definitely give this a try.

A waste of money. The flavor stats of at the best intensity. But after only using it 24 hours ago and only for 5 minutes, the flavor intensity is almost gone.

This product was a game-changer when I decided to quit vaping. The hand-to-mouth habit from constantly vaping all the time was severe until I discovered this. It provided immense & immediate relief from the urge to puff & acted similar to a vape. It’s not electric, lacks an on/off button, is small & portable, & functions as advertised. It’s sleek, has a pleasant feel, & gave me the satisfaction of holding something. The menthol taste was the perfect amount & not overpowering. This simple yet effective design helped me quit vaping. It’s not a cure or an immediate fix or a replacement to a vape, but a tool that assisted me in navigating the quitting process. I can confidently say that it helped me successfully quit & I no longer use it. I highly recommend this to anyone quitting vaping or smoking who needs a little extra support.

I am currently trying to quit vaping. The other reviews are correct, this is not a vape at all. I got the menthol flavor, and I hardly taste it at all. I have been using nicotine patches, which helped curve the cravings and I hoped this would help me with the flavor and the habit of putting something to my mouth, but I don’t think this will be it. I think if it gave off more flavor, it probably would be great. Great idea, but poor functionality.

My husband just had a heart attack, and was ordered to quit smoking. His cardiologist approved flavored air, so he immediately ordered these MOXE inhalers. (The menthol flavor.) We're both on nicotine patches now, but have been using these inhalers to help curb our hand-to-mouth cravings. So far, here's what we think: TASTE & SMELL: There is no smell, and we both agree the flavor is pleasant. There is a nice, minty aftertaste that lingers after each inhalation, almost like the taste of gum as it slowly fades. It's comforting to menthol smokers. FUNCTIONALITY: We both loved that you can just open the box and take a "puff". No charging, no fluids, no batteries - nothing to put together ... MOXE made a very easy-to-use product. WEIGHT: It's heavier than a cigarette, but not by much. If you desire, you can still hold it between 2 fingers comfortably. STRENGTH: My husband prefers a stronger drag, and right away felt like the inhalers were limiting. He removed the metal end pieces to get more air through his inhaler, and enjoys it more now. I, on the other hand, left well enough alone and am training myself to take longer, slower breaths. Still, it would be nice if you could adjust the air flow to your preference. LACK OF SMOKE: For me, the the lack of smoke has been the hardest thing to get used to. Both cigarettes and vapes give off lots of smoke and scent, so the fact that MOXEs have absolutely ZERO trace of either is mind-boggling. I still can't get used to exhaling without going through the action of "blowing smoke". LONGEVITY: Unknown at this time ... My husband and I each smoked 1+ packs per day, so I have the feeling we won't get a full month out of these inhalers. However, even if they only last 1 week, there is great value. That's $20-30 on inhalers, versus $100-150 on cigarettes ... Saves us about 2 mortgage payments per year. All-in-all, we're very pleased and will be buying more of these inhalers. It’s underwhelming because no smoke comes out but you get used to it and then it becomes addicting just to have. Not sure if it’s helping me quit or not

I haven't smoked cigarettes since 1999. However, my girlfriend was using the nicotine puffer and I started puffing them once in a while and before long I was hooked without noticing. I thought those were made to help quit. They're not! They're just an electronic way to poison you the same way cigarettes do. I feel so foolish admitting that I fell for that scam. I wanted to quit the puffer as I started getting that feeling in my chest that made it hard to breathe like I did when I smoked. I searched Amazon for nicotine gum and these popped up too. The price was right so I bought both. After 3 days I stopped the gum as I read online how bad it is for you too. However, this is perfect! Why? It's just mint. It gives you that menthol flavor that you get from the puffer. After one unit I was done. I haven't puffed anything now in 2 weeks and I do NOT miss it. I bought 2 more just to give to friends. One friend also quit and one stubborn friend hasn't tried it yet as she's not ready to quit. Buy it, it works! No harm, just mint. I can actually see keeping one just for the flavor. It's like a burst of energy in every puff. No chemicals, no nicotine, nothing bad. I recycled my used one and the box too. No more $60 puffer every 3 weeks. No more breathing problems. No more embarrassment while puffing on the robot killer. One tube and you're done!!

Save your money and get a pack of plastic drink straws, these have zero flavor

Works well as an alternative to help quit smoking

This is an incredible find! As long as you're aware that this isn't meant to fully replicate the sensation of vaping, then this is a must-have if you're attempting to quit. I quit vaping two weeks ago before ordering this product, but then found myself fidgeting and missing the hand-to-mouth habit (humans are weird, aren't we?). This more than fills that gap. I realized that it's not the nicotine that I miss, but the "motions" of the habit itself, and this product greatly helps with that. Incredible!

The idea is great but the flavour is very weak.

If you want everything in your house to smell, but to inhale on this thing and somehow taste nothing, boy do I have the product for you! These don't really do anything to replicate the sensation of smoking, honestly I'm annoyed that I wasted money on these. The small got all over everything in the drawer I put them in, and it is so strong that it makes my eyes burn. Don't waste your money

Very bad product, I would even say that it is harmful! I bought this to ease my smoking cravings and what I got instead was irritated lungs and a stomach ache. I wouldn’t recommend this for anything whatsoever! Horrible, Horrible and Horrible !
