I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to respond to the unnecessarily negative review on here... Like anything else with car seats, it's all in how it's installed. All of the premium brand/high end car seats come with buckle protectors, meant to help the bottom buckle stay easily accessible and not get lost under the child when they sit down in the seat, and also to help protect your child's inner thighs from getting pinched by the buckle during fastening. The way this product is made, it comes with a stiff plastic piece inside the fabric to help you install it properly, as well as detailed instructions on installation. The pad is threaded through the buckle slit in the seat cover (on the side of the buckle closest to where your child will be sitting) and is pulled all the way through so that any extra fabric is underneath the seat (you'll likely need to turn the car seat upside down, or open it if you have a Britax Click Tight, to get to the underside of the buckle to properly pull it all the way down). Properly installed, there is no extra fabric on the buckle and there is extremely minimal padding. There is nothing that would cause the car seat straps to have extra slack. In fact, the Britax pad I replaced with this one (one too many stains lol), has significantly more padding (you can also refer to your installation manual for your car seat for more on buckle pad insertion). I'm very grateful that Amazon has products like these available (and on Prime!) because manufacturer replacement parts are very hard to find... You can call the company of course, during normal business hours, wait on hold a ridiculously long time, and then find out they are out of stock and be directed to Ebay... I bought two of these for my grand daughter's carseats. They work great and make it very easy to find the buckle. No more fumbling around looking for it. My granddaughter talks to the cat like it's one of her toys. I highly recommend this product. It shipped fast and was packaged very well.

This has been a must during our hot AZ summer when seatbelts get so hot! My daughter absolutely loves it too. I only wish I had found it a year sooner!

This product does exactly what it says it will do!

It worked great on my Britax seat.

Aftermarket products like this are not crash tested with the seat and can cause slack in the straps and other issues that could cause the seat to fail in an accident. Too much slack in the straps could allow the baby to be ejected from the seat.
