GOBI 3 Instant Tent 3 Man Waterproof Double Layer FlashFrame Quick Pitch Tent and Pack System with Porch and Windows

We have used our slumit gobi 3 several times now this year and we are more than happy with the quality. Not only is it British made and not some cheaply made product from China, which lacks in quality, it is a fine piece of engineering. The tent is easy to set up and can be set up with just one person in under 5 minutes. Pegging included! The tent is very waterproof unlike some cheap copies from china. It can take abit of a beating from winds, if pegged right and i would advise getting better stronger pegs. The pegs are o.k but if like me you like to camp in the wild a stronger peg helps with getting them.in the rocky, rooty ground... i would not take this tent out in stronger winds abouve 20mph, abouve this wind speed i would find some shelter, like a hedge. There is plenty of space in the gobi 3, even if you are 6ft! The gobi 3 has great ventilation for them warm summer nights. It features a net, inside the tent, at the top, where you can place a phone or tablet to watch films at night. Although i dont think it was made for this, we thought we would try it and it worked for us! There are plenty of pockets inside for lots of things. We mainly use this as a 2 man tent, with big rucksacks, and we keep our rucksacks inside with plenty room to sleep. We have used it as a 3 man also and there is plenty movement area for 3 people. The gobi 3 has the best pack away bag, you can dismantle the tent easy and the big pack away bag makes it easy to get in without the fuss. I would recommend this tent to anyone, as we have done. If you want quality, no fuss unpacking and packing this is the tent for you!

Written after a season of regular useAnd itching for the all clear to start again soon !! What's not to like about my Gobi 3 tent ! Top value for money, but not at the cost of quality. It's SO quick and easy to put up. Its very sturdy and very waterproof! (friends tents have not fared so well even though they were more expensive!). It's stood up to some hellish stormy weather and shrugged it off every time. Packing away is also very easy, once you get your technique right, and the bag provided does an excellent job of compressing it down to a very manageable size. Do not be taken in by more expensive brands. Highly recommended.

The tent was really easy to set up. Just open up, pull up the centre and lock in place. Tie everything down and you're good to go.The tent was really roomy inside and plenty for 2 people. It may be a little snug for 3, but there's definitely room.Used on a short break and we had some rain and plenty of wind. The tent held up fine and the waterproof worked really well.Can't recommend this enough!

The tent is really good plenty of room for 2 people 3 people would be cosy.the pitching is really quick and easy I'd say watch the videos if you're unsure but it's pretty straight forward.the tent is really well made so waterproofness should be fine at 4000 the ground sheet is really strong and robust I'd still advise getting a footprint to just prolonge the life and keep groundsheet clean.the vestibule is ok not massive but somewhere to take muddy boots and wet clothes off if needed.the front door can be turned into a small canopy with poles which you buy separately.thered plenty of pegging out points and guy lines so should stand up to some pretty bad weather however the pegs it comes with are very cheap crap so switch them out for some decent pegs.packing up is easy just be careful when collapsing the frame and folding it in.then it rolls up easy and fits into the bag which is plenty big enough.all in all a great quick and easy to pitch tent I'd recommend.

I bought this to camp for the Isle of Man TT. I had two weeks booked. Pack size is bang on 78cm. Got to the campsite and had the tent up in 5 mins, pegged and roped in 5-10 minutes, could've done it quicker tbh. Got my gear set up inside for one, plenty of room. It was one of the windiest TT's for years and another review says it wouldn't take more than 25mph. We had 46 mph winds and this tent hardly moved, other pole tents on site were struggling. We had heavy hail and rain, not one drop came in. Loved all the pockets and the ceiling net. I got this for the extra room in the porch which does use a pole, takes no more than a couple of minutes and the extra space is so handy for shoes, cookwear and wet stuff, it also has a ground sheet. The vents and supports for the vents work superbly in the heat. Slumit did me proud as it looks the dogs too. For an island that can have four seasons in a day this worked out perfectly. I look forward to using it again soon on the motorbike tours. Excellent.

As soon as I went onto the Amazon account this tent caught my eye . It was a good price so I bought it . As I was going on camp week after and looking to downsize as finding other tent too big . Found tent quite easy to put up , could have done with dry run to familiarise. Was pleasantly surprised how big it was inside plenty of room . The weather was quite atrocious and the tent took all of it not letting in any rain at all and stood up to the wind . Packing tent was very easy. All in all give it ten out of ten . And the after sales is fantastic, and there's a 3 year limited warranty on it . Highly recommend it .

5 stars because, it's so easy to assemble/unassemble.It is totally waterproof and windproof.It is well ventilated, no condensation whatsoever.They have thought of everything a tent needs to be and have inside and out.The porch area is fantastic + windows!It's beautifully made and looks very expensive.The first night we camped out, I didn't check the forcast for that night and it was torrential rain and strong wind. We enjoyed listening to it pelting the tent. Highland rain is no laughing matter but this tent was made for it. Seriously, bone dry and warm!Nice thick ground sheet too. Sturdy frame. Feel safe inside it.This is our third night camping in a row (my daugher loves it) she said this tent is better than sleeping in a hotel! So, there you go. Buy one of these, I promise you will not regret it.Absolutely brilliant!!Wish there were more stars to rate it.
